Eddie Howe was delighted to see his Burnley players mark his 34th birthday with an emphatic 4-0 win over Ipswich.
Back-to-back wins moved the Clarets four points clear of the npower Championship drop zone, and just five shy of the play-off places.
"The second half was enjoyable," said Howe. "I don't think I've had many second halves here at Turf Moor in my short reign that have been as enjoyable as that. I thought we were excellent.
"It was a strange game in the fact that we created so many chances. I think we could have probably scored double the four that we did.
"Jay Rodriguez had chance after chance and to be fair to him he kept going and got the reward for an excellent individual performance. But what pleases me more is the team effort. We were really good in the second half."
