Manager Nigel Pearson believes there is more to come from his Leicester side after they climbed into the top six of the npower Championship with an impressive home victory over Blackpool.
Pearson, who remains unbeaten since returning to Leicester for a second spell as manager earlier this month, said: "It was a very good result. In the first half we were a little bit laboured in how we went about things, but in the second half we were much improved and could have won by more."
Asked about his side's elevation into the top six, the Foxes boss added: "We know we've got to work hard. The top two (Southampton and West Ham) are running away with it at the moment, so we've got to try and keep in contact.
"There are still an awful lot of points to be played for and I think there's more to come from us in terms of performance, because it's quite early days yet for the players in the sense of getting to know my methods and how we work as a staff.
"I also think the players need to play with a bit more confidence but that will come in time."
