In attendance for day one of the second Ashes Test at Lord's was Her Majesty the Queen.
Her Majesty walked out onto the pitch from the famous Lord's pavilion and was introduced to the captains and players of both England and Australia as well as meeting the match officials at the 'home of cricket'.
As a result, the start of the second Test was delayed by fully 15 minutes.
The Queen made her way to the Marylebone Cricket Club's famous Long Room where she was introduced to the coaching staff of both teams before taking a seat on the MCC balcony to watch some of the day's play.
The Queen is patron of the MCC, but her last visit to Lord's was back in July 2009 when England had the better of the day in what proved to be an Ashes-winning series.
The Test may have been delayed as a result of the Queen's visit, but England will be perfectly happy about it: England went on to win the match by 115 runs after her attendance in 2009.
