Adrian Dennis's photograph above has been named by the Premier League as the 'Barclays Shot of the Season.'

The AFP photographer captured the Arsenal team celebrating after Laurent Koscielny scored a late equaliser against Manchester City last season.

"I'm thrilled to win the Barclays Shot of the Season award," Dennis said.

"It's known to be one of the highest-regarded competitions for sports photographers to enter. For me, the winning shot brings to life the true spirit of the game, and the elation from the players is infectious."

The judging panel included UK Picture Editors' Guild chairman Alan Sparrow, Sky Sports football commentator Martin Tyler, Football Writers' Association, chairman Andy Dunn and last year's winner Owen Humphreys.

Dennis received £5,000 worth of photographic equipment as a prize.

Meanwhile, the Mail on Sunday's David Shopland was named the Photographer of the Year.
