Real Madrid have released an emotional video paying tribute to Alfredo di Stefano, who died on Monday at the age of 88.

The Argentinian-born striker spent the majority of his playing career at Real, managed them on a couple of occasions and was named honorary life-president in his latter years.

Soundtracked by 'My Way', the clip shows the many highlights from his remarkable career in which he won five European Cups and eight league titles with Real.

Cristiano Ronaldo paid tribute to Di Stefano, who acted as a mentor to many of the stars signed by Real in recent years.

On Tuesday, Madrid-based newspaper Marca produced a superb front page in memory of the man known as the 'Blonde Arrow', who was rated by many as the most complete footballer that ever played the game.
