We can all be thankful that the Women's National League match between Peamount United and Wexford Youths was being filmed because now we can all delight in this wonderful goal.
Peamount's Stephanie Roche rendered a Wexford defender useless with a couple of kick-ups before turning and shooting on the volley.
Peamount went on to win 6-1.
Peamount won the Irish league in its inaugural season of 2011/12 and Roche was the league's top scorer that year with 24 goals (last season she only scored a measly 22 goals, second best to team-mate Sara Lawlor's 28). She also plays for the Republic of Ireland.
For another smile, it's worth checking out Roche's Twitter feed as her international fame rises and the support rolls in. She seems to handling it well.
@RayNoonan01 haha I'm good like that.. this fame hasn't gone to my head just yet! ;)
