Tottenham fans rejoice in Walcott injury woe

Theo Walcott ensured he would never be invited round for supper by any Tottenham Hotspur supporters by taunting them with hand gestures depicting Arsenal's 2-0 lead over their North London rivals in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Most neutrals refuse to begrudge Walcott such a non-offensive, as Gunners boss Arsene Wenger worded it, rebuttal to the away supporters hurling abuse his way - some of which no doubt was certainly far from non-offensive.

The whole incident, however, overshadowed one small but ultimately-vital detail: Theo was being stretchered off the pitch injured at the time.

On Monday, the prognosis was in: Walcott would miss six months of action, and will be out of contention for a place in England's World Cup squad as a result.

And just like that, the last laugh fell to the Tottenham fanbase.
