Wayne Rooney has revealed the songs he will be listening to in Brazil as he hopes to lead England to World Cup glory.

The England striker has described the collection as a "mixed bag" but he hasn't strayed too far from the top of the charts with Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams and Mumford & Sons all featuring.

Not surprisingly his favourite band the Stereophonics also heavily feature. Rooney has the title of their album "Just Enough Education To Perform" tattooed on his right forearm.

Some of his selections are certainly interesting.

Rooney had to defend himself in 2011 for a gesture made towards Chelsea fans so the choice of "Two Fingers" is interesting. His sketchy injury record makes "Small Bump" and "Broken" notable choices, while his sometimes questionable attitude off the pitch made "Beerbottle" and "Money On My Mind" stand out.

He also picked "Stuck In A Rut" as one of his choices but that is countered with the choice of "Lean On Me" and could "Big Parade" be foreshadowing an unlikely open bus tour around London in July?

Anyway have a look at the full list below and let us know what you think of his Spotify playlist? What song do you think of when you think of Wayne Rooney?
