Arsenal are contending with a midfield crisis ahead of their vital Premier League match against Chelsea on Saturday.

The club have already seen Jack Wilshere ruled out for the season, and Euro 2012, while Abou Diaby is still on the sidelines due to a knee injury.

He is likely to be replaced in the team by Aaron Ramsey, but a further complication arises with the fact Yossi Benayoun is

Liverpool's Alexander Doni is sent off against Blackburn

Liverpool have had to recall Peter Gulacsi from his loan spell at Hull City due to the Reds having both their first and second-choice goalkeepers suspended.

The Reds are without the suspended Jose Reina and Alexander Doni for their FA Cup semi-final against Everton at the weekend and will be forced to start with Brad Jones in goal.

Elsewhere there is little new to report in the way of injuries despite every Premier League competing in two matches over the past week.

Chelsea could be without captain John Terry when they host Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Given they are five points behind Tottenham and Arsenal in fifth place, Chelsea cannot afford any more mistakes in the remaining seven games of the season and losing Terry would be a big blow.

The defender aggravated a rib injury in Wednesday's Champions League victory over Benfica and is now a doubt for the weekend.

Liverpool, who host Aston Villa on Saturday, will have to hand a debut to goalkeeper Alexander Doni as Pepe Reina is suspended following his red card against Newcastle last weekend.

    The Reds are

Fabricio Coloccini of NewcastleFabricio ColocciniThis week's injuries have more of an impact on teams in mid-table and below, with the only major new absences those of Newcastle defender Fabricio Coloccini, and Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam - teams who play each other on Sunday, and teams battling for a Europa League place.

Argentine centre-half Coloccini suffered a hamstring problem in the fine 3-1 win at West Brom and will be out for a few weeks, while Adam injured his knee in the shock defeat at home to Wigan. The Scotland international's season could be over, with the pair of absences more likely to have a negative effect on Toon, as

NaniManchester United manager Alex Ferguson says that Nani could be back training by the end of the week.

The Portuguese forward has missed United's last three games through injury, but is set to rejoin the squad after recovering from an ankle problem.

Monday's match against Fulham may come too soon for Nani, but versatile defender Phil Jones should be available after recovering from illness.

Ferguson told United's official website: "There are no (new) problems with injuries, it's much better now.

"There was Jones getting that bout of 'flu but he's back. Jones was actually back on Friday but we
