The biggest mover of the week in La Liga was Villarreal's David Fuster (14.64). The forward made only his second start for the Yellow Submarine following his summer move from Elche, but his headed opener in the 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid was just reward for a truly eye-catching performance. Three other shots on target and a bruising number of fouls suffered saw his price almost treble.

Racing Santander pulled themselves out of the bottom three with a 3-2 win over no-hopers Xerez. Crafty skipper Pedro Munitis (13.20) created all three goals.

Sevilla goalkeeper Andre Palop (17.49) earned 14.5 points for his clean sheet at Sporting Gijon that helped send the Rojiblancos back up to third.

Valencia were the team to make way for Sevilla following their 3-2 home defeat to a Real Madrid missing both Cristiano Ronaldo (32.25) and Kaka (19.13). Real had more than enough to down Los Che however, with Gonzalo Higuain (27.05) bagging two goals on his way to a 28-point haul, with Ezequiel Garay (11.87) earning 12 points for his match-winning goal.

Juventus may have gone down 3-1 at Bari at the weekend, but David Trezeguet (17.71) continues to prove he's not past it just yet. The 32-year-old has bagged seven goals in 11 league appearances this season, and his strike against the Galletti helped earn him 18 points.

Despite his goal being breached, Bari keeper Jean Francois Gillet (13.11) made seven saves and even bagged an assist in a highly impressive display.

An even bigger surprise at the weekend was Palermo's 2-0 win at Milan. Goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu (15.83) made six saves as he completed a shout-out at the San Siro, while Mark Bresciano (9.82) earned 17.5 points after he scored one goal and created the other.

Lens striker Kanga Akale (10.20) earned 28 points after scoring one goal and setting up the other in the 2-0 win over Nice, a performance that saw his fantasy value double. Lens keeper Vedran Runje (8.80) made his contribution, making four saves to keep a clean sheet and rack up 18 points.

Lille moved up to third on goal difference thanks to the 4-0 thumping they dished out at Monaco. Tulio de Melo (11.67) bagged his first two goals of the season in that match to earn an eye-catching 24 points.

Marouane Chamakh (12.78) scored his first goal since October as Bordeaux won 1-0 at Lyon to heap the misery on the erstwhile seven-times champions.
