During the season our regular feature will
detail whose value is rising and falling.
Abou Diaby (Arsenal,
10.64) +5.39: The Frenchman's
dazzling two-goal performance against Portsmouth
saw his value more than double.
Brad Friedel (Aston
Villa, 11.56) +2.89: No clean sheet, but 10 saves and a win at Anfield were
enough to send the American veteran's
(Sunderland, 11.97) +1.85: Two goals against Blackburn got the Trinidad and Tobago
off the mark for the season, but he is a touch expensive now.
Boaz Myhill (Hull City,
3.62) +1.69: Delivered the best points-per-pound of the season so far,
picking up 22.5 in Hull's
win over Bolton.
Dimitar Berbatov (Manchester United, 13.55) +1.56: The Bulgarian was close
to his best in the demolition of Wigan,
chipping in with a goal, an assist and even three interceptions.
Ben Foster (Manchester United, 8.17)
+1.32: A clean sheet and a win at the DW Stadium was worth 22.5 points to
the 14 per cent of managers with Foster in nets.
(Burnley, 7.89) +1.06: Burnley's new signing made it two clean sheets in a row
versus Everton. What price a hat-trick at Chelsea
(Tottenham, 12.12) +1.04: Jermain Defoe scores them, but Lennon is the man
setting them up, with the England
winger in the form of his life.
Wayne Rooney (Manchester United, 18.99)
+1.03: Has started the season so well, his 28.5 points were just another
day at the office for the champions'
main man up front.
(Liverpool, 18.25) +0.75: A lone bright spot in Liverpool's defeat to Villa, Torres popped up with a goal but
blotted his copybook with a booking.
Cesc Fabregas (MF Arsenal,
16.66) -2.89: Snakes and ladders for Fabregas, who was last week's biggest climber. A hamstring injury means he is
doubtful for the game at Manchester United.
Robert Green (GK West
Ham, 10.03) -2.53: Despite making four saves, Green's
failure to prevent a 2-1 defeat against Tottenham saw his price plummet.
Mark Schwarzer (GK Fulham,
10.35) -2.34: Another big faller, the Schwarz was powerless to prevent a Chelsea victory in the
derby at Craven Cottage.
Louis Saha (FW
Everton, 7.15) -1.97: Missed a penalty in the 1-0 defeat against Burnley. The silver lining? He looks superb value for Wigan at home on Sunday.
Stephen Ireland (MF Manchester
City, 11.70) -1.69: The Fantasist put the kiss of death on the Irishman by
describing him as "staggeringly consistent" last Friday.
Jose Reina (GK Liverpool,
11.67) -1.39: Liverpool's first
home defeat in 31 Premier League games meant bad news for the Spaniard's owners last week.
(Sunderland, 10.12) -0.93: Strike partner Kenwyne Jones nicked all of Bent's points last week, bringing his value back down to
a reasonable level.
Paul Scharner (Wigan Athletic, 8.30) -0.73: Well, a 5-0 drubbing at
home to Manchester United will do that for you. Next up, a trip to Goodison to
Deco (Chelsea, 7.40) -0.49: After his brief cameo at the tip
of Chelsea's diamond formation, the Portuguese international
returned to his familiar role on the bench.
John O'Shea (Manchester United, 6.69) -0.47: The
Irishman was unexpectedly dropped and missed out on United's points bonanza at Wigan, coming on as a late
