During the season our regular feature will detail whose value is rising and falling.

As Manchester United's 4-0 win over Hull City was the only match in this gameweek, teams from those sides naturally dominate proceedings. However, the price changes provide some food for thought for this weekend's selections.

Wayne Rooney (FW, Manchester United, 24.91) +4.90

Scored all four goals against, but was booked. So just the 45.5 points then.

Maxi Rodriguez (MF, Liverpool, 4.78) +4.78

Now available for selection, if you fancy the Argentine as a January transfer window revelation.

Rio Ferdinand (DF, Manchester United, 11.40) +3.76

Returned from lengthy injury against Hull, but facing three-game violent conduct ban.

Michael Owen (FW, Manchester United, 7.17) +1.97

Had a few shots against Hull, but that price is not fooling anyone.

George Boateng (MF, Hull City, 5.37) +1.12

A busy performance as the Tigers midfielder tried to hold back the United tide.

Darren Fletcher (MF, Manchester United, 6.94) +1.05

Added a few crosses to his usual midfield destroyer act.

Nicky Barmby (MF, Hull City, 3.23) +1.04

Had one of just four Hull shots on target compared to United's 15.

Nani (MF, Manchester United, 15.44) +0.97

The Portuguese had a field day that enabled him to top up his unjustifiably high price.

Dirk Kuyt (FW, Liverpool, 15.45) +0.92

Still riding the wave following his match-winning brace against Spurs.

Kevin Kilbane (MF, Hull City, 3.03) +0.79

Came on as a late sub, so not punished for defeat.

Boaz Myhill (GK, Hull City, 6.26) +4.78

What goes up must come down. After his heroic 11-save performance against Spurs, Muhill's value is returning to normal.

Nicolas Anelka (FW, Chelsea, 21.14) -2.00

Like several players in this section, value has dropped slightly on assumption that they were not picked this week.

Dimitar Berbatov (FW, Manchester United, 13.35) -1.85

Came off the bench to assist one goal, but not enough to maintain his average points accrual.

Andy Dawson (DF, Hull City, 7.78) -1.67

An ineffectual performance from the Hull stopper.

Frank Lampard (MF, Chelsea, 21.63) -1.21

Like Anelka, yet to play this week after his brace against Sunderland.

Anthony Gardner (DF, Hull City, 8.95) -1.18

At least managed to block a few shots and make several interceptions and tackles.

Fabio (DF, Manchester United, 5.08) -1.02

Managed to commit a foul in his two minutes on the pitch at the end.

Paul McShane (DF, Hull City, 7.33) -1.01

Not as busy as Gardner, busier than Dawson.

Darren Bent (FW, Sunderland, 13.45) -1.00

Scored 15 goals this season, so always a decent bet at this price.

Steven Pienaar (MF, Everton, 13.14) -0.98

Scored in his last three league games.
