Westwood, Scott my picks to win

The conditioning of the course at the US PGA Championship is as good as I've ever seen.
The fairways are like carpets and the ball sits up nicely on them.

The greens are fast and true. They are certainly quick
and being under the hole is important.

The fairway bunkers are really tough to hit out of. The
sand is soft and the ball sits down making it very hard to get a good contact. I
guess they are hazards though!

I thought the course was going to suit the long hitter,
but the PGA of America have varied the tees, taking away that obvious
advantage. It allows you the chance to scramble for your pars.

I think it suits a good iron player as the greens are
well bunkered and being under the hole helps.

The field has condensed from round two, but my picks
would be Adam Scott and Lee Westwood.

Lee has been very quiet for two rounds and played under the
radar, but he is in great position at one under.

Some would say that this is the weakest of the Majors for
those two guys to break their duck in, but the US PGA has the strongest and
deepest field out of all of them. You only have to look at how many of the top 100
players in the world are involved.

This tournament also offers up the most standard course set up we
face at the Majors.

They try to tread a fine line between offering up birdies for
excitement, while also creating a test that is going to produce a worthy Major champion.

Ultimately, you are judged by how many Majors you win at
the end of your career, if you're going to go down in the record books.

I would say that I have some work to do before the Majors become
my sole focus. I need to win a little more regularly.

I think developing the
winning habit as much as possible is invaluable when it
comes to putting away a Major championship.

Therefore, every week is an opportunity to bank positive
memories and to move closer to my goals.
