Herman makes comeback with quick KO at TUF 13 finale

Ed Herman won the battle of two "The Ultimate Fighter" alums on Saturday night, knocking out Tim Credeur in less than a minute on Saturday night.

Herman, in his first fight back in the UFC after a gruesome leg injury, made short work of Credeur. He knocked him down with an uppercut thrown while in the clinch, then finished with a barrage of punches when Credeur was on the ground, finishing the fight just 0:48 into the first round.

This was Herman's first time back in the Octagon since UFC 102 in 2009, when he lost to Aaron Simpson after injuring his knee. Credeur was in a similar position as his MMA career was put on hold when a pre-fight brain scan found an anomaly.

Even with that long lay-off, Herman was happy that he spent less than a minute fighting.

"It's unbelievable," Herman said. "That six, that uppercut, that's been my money punch."

Herman's record is now 22-9, while Credeur drops to 12-4. This was Credeur's second loss in a row in the UFC.
