Cam Newton arrives at Super Bowl in fancy suit, dons 'MVP' shoes

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has realized his dream of being an entertainer and an icon. His famous pre-draft proclamation nearly five years ago has become true, and we know this because even his style choices are heavily scrutinized.

We gawked at his yellow zebra pants as he arrived at the beginning of the week, so of course we're going to check out his pregame sartorial choices before Super Bowl 50 against the Denver Broncos.

And they're not too shabby, we must say. (And less yellow.)

Check out Newton's black, white and grey sportcoat, with black pants and black shirt. Fine look indeed — and lest you think his outfit is a bit toned down, check out those shiny shoes. Nicely done with the accent pieces. The next step will be to ID the designer(s) and just how expensive this look is. We've been blown away at the cost of Newton's other snazzy outfits, so this one likely costs a pretty penny.

Once he got onto the field, Newton changed into cleats that read "MVP," which is fitting after Saturday night's NFL awards.

But here's the natural follow-up to Cam's fashion: Can he work on Jared Allen's outfits for next season? Thanks in advance.
