Canadiens fans hug Zdeno Chara for free hamburger (Video)

In order to eat a free hamburger Montreal Canadiens fans had to hug one of their most hated rivals.

Check out the above video where Canadiens fans decided to embrace Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara in order to eat a free Big Mac from McDonald’s. This seems to be somewhat of a sequel a McDonald’s commercial from last season when Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty made Bruins fans say “Max 67 is awesome” in honor of his own personal burger.

Even though the Canadiens fans seem to talk tough initially, showing some doubt in their desire to hug Chara, they eventually give in to the 6-foot-9, 250-pound blueliner. This may have to do with the fact that he’s one of the most intimidating players in NHL history.

Take a look at the size difference between Chara and the Habs fans.

This brings up an important question. If you’re a fan of one of Boston’s rivals, would you hug Chara for a Big Mac?
