Five biggest worries about NHL All-Star Game's new format (Video)

Plans have been finalized for the NHL All-Star Game in Nashville in January. There will be four teams based on the four divisions, and three 20-minute mini-games played between them.

We wouldn’t be hockey fans if radical changes weren’t met with complete pessimism and skepticism.

In this week’s Wysh List, Yahoo Sports’ Greg Wyshynski looks at five factors that could make or break the new NHL All-Star format, from too much of a good thing (3-on-3 overtime) to … uh … too much of a good thing (players getting sloshed in the 48 hours leading up to the Sunday afternoon game).

The Wysh List is our weekly countdown on any and all topics in the hockey. Greg Wyshynski is a writer for Yahoo Sports. Contact him at puckdaddyblog@yahoo.com or find him on Twitter. His book, TAKE YOUR EYE OFF THE PUCK, is available on Amazon and wherever books are sold.
