Julianne Hough braver than T.J. Oshie, Capitals coaster ride reveals (Video)

The Washington Capitals held their annual season-ticker holder party at Six Flags America* recent, which meant that players and their significant others had a chance to brave “Superman: Ride of Steel,” which recreates the experience of Kal-El fighting and then murdering General Zod while thousands of people die in a crumbling Metropolis (just a guess here, actually).

They slapped Go-Pro cameras in front of Brooks Laich and Julianne Hough; Alex Ovechkin and his fiancé Nastya Shubskaya; and T.J. Oshie and wife Lauren Cosgrove.

The resulting footage is pretty much what you’d expect: Hough and Laich going all-in on the fun; Ovechkin acting like he just sniped a power play goal while Nastya eases into the coaster thrills; Cosgrove having a blast; and T.J. Oshie looking like he’s one steep drop from soiling himself.

Seriously, this poor guy:

As the video shows, Oshie has a death grip on the coaster car during the ride, doing that wide-eyes smile that says “I’M HAVING SO MUCH FUN EVEN THOUGH I MIGHT PLUMMET TO MY DEMISE!!!!!!"

Well that was fun. Usually the Capitals wait until April for their emotional roller coaster.
