Pass or Fail: Team North America 2016 World Cup of Hockey jerseys
The NHL and adidas said Team North America will play “under an inclusive badge of brotherhood” for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
And because of this, they gave the players age 23-and-younger a unique jersey.
From adidas:
The crest and uniform feature highlights of beacon red, signaling the high energy these stars bring to the ice. This uniform admits the wearer to the exclusive club of the next generation.
As the jersey below spins, also note the Roman numerals 'XXIII' on the sleeve, standing for 23 since the players are age 23-and-younger.
