Argentina's win over Switzerland in the second round of the World Cup was an emotional affair, and it seems one man was particularly overcome by the whole thing.

After Angel di Maria scored La Celeste's late, late winner, Argentinian commentator Pablo Giralt greeted the clinching goal with high emotion.

Indeed, after describing the strike with typical gusto, Giralt bursts into tears, and his co-commentator has to take over and describe the action.

The rather emotional response called to mind Jack van Gelder's famous commentary of Dennis Bergkamp's last-minute winner, against Argentina in the 1998 World Cup.

Much like Giralt, Van Gelder did his best to hold it together and describe the action, before simply screaming Bergkamp's name over and over and bursting into tears.
