Live World Cup scores come to the underground

Worried about missing out on the World Cup because you have to commute home after work?

Fret not. Those ever-helpful folk at Transport for London have arranged a £100,000 deal with ESPNFC to provide score updates on the underground.

And yes, that means they'll be using the dotmatrix displays - more usually used to show when the next train is due - to make sure everyone knows the latest scores and scorers.

That does also mean, though, that if you're planning to watch on a catch-up channel once you get in there will be no way of avoiding spoilers. Thanks, TfL...
