Neymar is expected to be one of the leading stars at the World Cup finals and if his behaviour in training is anything to go by he certainly looks full of confidence.
The Brazil forward, who is the biggest name in football in his home country, decided to take a rather inventive penalty in training ahead of the 2014 finals.
Going to plant his left foot in the traditional matter, and shaping to strike the ball with his favoured right foot, the Brazil and Barcelona star instead did something completely unexpected.
As you can see from the video below, Neymar instead flicks the ball with his left boot, leaving the keeper, and everyone watching, completely bamboozled.
As he came through the ranks at Santos, Neymar earned a reputation for his stunning close control and amazing variety of tricks, many of which he boldly exhibited during domestic matches.
While he may have curbed his showboating since joining Barcelona last summer, this clever moment shows he has lost none of his creativity or imagination.
But was he the first player to pull off such a trick?
Not at all. Step forward Spain youth international Ezequiel Calvente, who did this in a match against Italy in 2010.
And sorry Neymar, but we think this one was even better...
