The All England Lawn Tennis Club is always a perfect picture of manicured lawns and pristine architecture. Well, that is, when it is not a functioning building site.

The basements under courts 14 and 15 are currently taking shape as intensive building work sees much of the grounds as rubble.

Major work is being undertaken on the courts between Centre and No.1 as part of the big '2020 Masterplan'.

The SW19 members' balcony, the Millennium Building and Somerset Road are all under construction, as well as the entrance to the world-famous Centre Court.

It is all part of vast refurbishments ahead of the 2014 Championships, while the renovation of many outer courts is an annual fixture.
