1) Chinese get welcome message for Hendry hilarious wrong

A hotel in China were delighted to welcome snooker legend Stephen Hendry but they got things spectacularly wrong when they decided to unfurl a banner in his honour.

Ping-pong Emperor? Mr Henry efficient? It is just so wonderful. Snooker is big business in China and Hendry is currently in Yushu. At the very same hotel he also found some interesting paraphernalia beside his bed.

While there he also had time to do the ice bucket challenge and nominated Mark Williams, Steve Davis and Andy Goldstein - who host The Ronnie O'Sullivan show on Eurosport.

2) David Moyes does ice bucket challenge

Okay we know you are all a bit sick of the ice bucket challenge but how can you resist watching David Moyes get dunked? He nominated Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley, Scottish singer Rod Stewart and Everton star Leon Osman.

3) And this has to be the best nomination of all right?

Kiernan Gibbs and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain decided to do it together and then nominated the referee who mistook them for each other against Chelsea last season.

4) Or is it this one?

James Milner also did the ice bucket challenge and nominated Man City assistant manager Brian Kidd, former Leeds star Lucas Radebe and best of all BORING JAMES MILNER!

Ahh yes, the Twitter superstar with over 313,000 followers who has been parodying the City star for the last number of years.

Dare the mystery satirist reveal his true identity – watch this space.

5) Would you eat this as a sporting event?

One team has started selling a 22-inch kielbasa sausage covered in beer cheese and fried sauerkraut at its matches. Looks yummy no?

No surprise to learn that this monstrosity comes from America with 'The Horse Collar' (named after an illegal tackle in American Football) for sale for $20 at Lambeau Field – the home of the NFL's Green Bay Packers.
