1) BLINK AND YOU'LL MISS THIS KARATE KO - Karate contest over within three remarkable seconds
Sometimes the best sporting contests are over very quickly. But perhaps not this quickly.
No sooner had the official in charge of the fight declared it as having begun, the chap on the right exploded into action with a quite sensational kick to the head which left his opponent comprehensively beaten.
The spectators could not quite believe what had happened with the contest over before many had even got into position. The poor defeated fighter will not have any idea what hit him.

2) ICE BUCKET FOOTBALL STARS GET RIDICULED - Cartoon satire pokes fun at football stars doing the 'ice bucket challenge'
We can all agree that, while for a wonderful cause with the ALS Association, the 'ice bucket challenge' that has become a global phenomenon is becoming rather tiresome with every public figure getting involved.
It appears that every professional footballer has already undertaken the challenge, and taken great delight in doing so - particularly Cristiano Ronaldo.
So comical cartoon creators 442oons have waded in to poke fun at the likes of Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

3) IS THIS THE MISS OF THE SEASON ALREADY? - Yes, yes it is...
With Wolfsburg trailing Bayern Munich 2-1 midway through the second half, Junior Malanda was presented with the perfect opportunity to level the scores.
What ensued however, will surely give the young Belgian nightmares for weeks to come.
Following a low cross from the left, Malanda saw his first effort saved by Manuel Neuer, deflecting up on the crossbar. Absolutely disastrous, but very comical.

4) 'HE SECRETLY ENJOYED IT' - Lifelong West Brom fan made to stand outside stadium in full Wolves kit
Kieran Handley, a huge West Brom fan, was made to stand outside The Hawthorns in a full Wolves kit, chanting songs about his club's rivals.
His best man Joe Wheway told the Daily Mirror that he thought it would make for a good stag-do dare, making him sing about Wolves legend Steve Bull.
"We thought what would be the thing he'd hate most and would amuse us," said Wheway.
"So we decided that sticking him in the Old Gold and singing about Steve Bull would be the best way to kick off the weekend's festivities. And deep down, we're pretty sure he secretly enjoyed it." Harsh.

5) VERY HARSH INDEED - Sunday League team forced to fold due to match at Cardiff City Stadium
A Sunday League football team has been forced to fold after a dream game they played at the Cardiff City Stadium contravened rules.
Malsters Arms FC won the chance to play at the home of the Bluebirds after winning a competition run as a thank you to grassroots football. But because the match was played on a Wednesday night the amateur side contravened rules and were forced to fold or face paying a heavy penalty.
The club were summoned to a disciplinary meeting because they are not insured to play on any day except Sunday and did not seek permission from the local body. Whoops.
