  • Why has Mo Farah got two waxworks?

Marathon man Mo Farah has two wax figures to go with his two Olympic golds but he isn't likely to be running the distance between them any time soon.

The two wax figures are around 250 miles apart with one given pride of place in Madame Tussauds in London, and the other taking up residence in their Blackpool branch.

According to Madame Tussaud's official website: "The British track and field World Champion will be portrayed in his trademark “Mobot” pose, and will take up residence in the interactive sports zones at both attractions.

"Here in London he'll join fellow Olympians Usain Bolt, Tom

  • The device that makes pub sports possible out of hours

Even us hacks, with our limited brain cells, found it easy to set up (above)

As you can imagine, this past weekend was a testing one for us at Eurosport Towers.

Two dramatic FA Cup semi-finals, one of the biggest games in the Premier League season, the Masters golf, the London marathon, a huge Manny Pacquiao fight and of course the usual schedule of other live sporting events.

Workload was high, and free time to actually take in the events unfolding around us – something we’re usually able to enjoy every occasional weekend – was extremely rare.

And then we were asked to try out a new product, one which the makers believe could enhance the experience of anyone stuck

  • Is this the future of ‘cheating’ the London Marathon?

We all look for quicker, easier ways of doing things and that is certainly the case when it comes to gruelling challenges like running marathons.

This may not be an easier way of completing, say, the London Marathon, but it is most definitely quicker and more convenient.

A one mile digital taster of the London Marathon course was unveiled at the event's annual Expo in advance of the race on Sunday 13 April and it's breathtakingly realistic.

The full digital course is set to be completed by October, according to organisers, and it presents an amazing set of possibilities for would-be runners.

  • The death of the Ultimate Warrior earlier this week was just the latest grim reminder that professional wrestlers continue to drop dead from something other than old age at an alarming rate.

The pinnacle of the Warrior's career was WrestleMania VI on April 1, 1990, at SkyDome in Toronto. Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan in the main event to win the championship.

Shockingly, Warrior is the 12th wrestler who competed at WrestleMania VI in 1990 to have died - one-third of the card's participants. The oldest was just 63.

  • A father and son entertained thousands of fans at a big sports event with their perfectly synchronised ‘happy’ dance.

The pair's fun, crazy routine to the Pharrell Williams song "Happy" was shown on the giant screen during a time-out at the NCAA Championship basketball game.

Now a video of the performance has gone viral on the web with the hugely popular clip propelling the duo to something very loosely described as social-media stardom.

The dad, Rob Maiden (apparently known to his friends as "Big Rob"), is also the captain of the Dallas Mavericks dance team.

He has now admitted that he and

  • David Beckham's image has been one of the most carefully managed brands in commercial history.

Sure the former England and Manchester United player was a very good player, perhaps even an excellent one, but you could never realistically say he was ever one of the top five best footballers in the world.

However, as a *brand* nobody comes close, and whether he is posing in his undies for H&M or sipping from a can of Pepsi, he hasn't seemed to put a commercial step wrong.

He may have just made that first misstep though – at least according to some - with his latest commercial deal causing a bit

  • WWE wrestler Ultimate Warrior (Screenshot)

Only three days after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, James Hellwig, who wrestled professionally as "The Ultimate Warrior," reportedly died Tuesday at 54, WWE officials announced.

WWE did not give a cause of death for Hellwig - who changed his name legally to 'Warrior' in 1993, also giving his children a pretty unique surname.

Hellwig appeared on WWE Raw on Monday in New Orleans on USA Network to a rousing ovation from fans, only a day after WrestleMania XXX.

Known for his extremely muscular physique, long, shaggy hair and colourful face paint, The Warrior feuded with many of the

  • A controversial selfie taken by David Ortiz during a visit by the Boston Red Sox to the White House last week may be the last, senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said on Sunday.

It was later revealed that the image of Ortiz and President Barack Obama snapped by the Red Sox slugger was part of a promotion for Samsung.

“Well, [President Obama] obviously didn't know anything about Samsung's connection to this,” Pfeiffer said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “And perhaps maybe this will be the end of all selfies.”
