Barcelona's football stars have demanded that they are flown to matches by all female flight crews because they have been getting too much attention from male cabin crew members.
The team are flown to away matches by club sponsor Turkish Airlines but male crew members have bombarded stars like Lionel Messi and Cesc Fabregas with requests for photographs and autographs.
Turkey's Hurriyet Daily News said: "The male flight attendants constantly asked for autographs and jerseys from globally-loved players like Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta, which eventually became a problem for the team officials.
"Turkish Airlines has therefore granted Barcelona a handpicked crew, made up of 20 female flight attendants, to accompany the players during their flights."
In 2010, Turkish Airlines paid the princely sum of €7.7m to become Barcelona's official airline, and for the privilege of ferrying them around Spain and the rest of the world for away games.
Manchester United have a similar contract with Turkey's national flag carrier airline and stars from both teams have appeared in advertisements for the airline.
