We all remember David Beckham's classic lob from his own half for Manchester United against Wimbledon in 1996 but it has nothing on this effort.
Mor Diouf scored a simply incredible long-range goal for SuperSport Utd against Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa at the weekend and there are many reasons why he tops Becks' attempt.
First of all, it was much further out, with Diouf's bendy, swerving effort being from at least 70 yards, while, even more significantly, it was the winning goal of the match, coming in the 88th minute, while Beckham's effort padded an already comfortable scoreline.
Diouf plays in the South African league but is actually from Senegal and usually plays as a centre-back but after this goal SuperSport might be tempted to move him further up the field.
"To be fair we got out of jail in this game and only won because of a wonder goal," admitted SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt.
The win helped SuperSport to move to eighth in the 16-team league.
