Defender scores incredible lobbed own goal

World of Sport

You will see few sights on a football pitch more spectacular than a player doing a 360 degree spin move before lobbing a goalkeeper for a goal.

Chad's Hassan Diallo managed to do just that against Egypt in an international friendly match played in Sudan this weekend — the only problem was he did it against his own goalkeeper.

After a long ball was played over the top, the defender seemed to lose his bearings before spinning round and inexplicably putting his boot out to lob his own keeper.

The goal came with just a minute to go in the match and made the score 3-0 to Egypt.

Things got worse for Chad as they conceded a fourth in stoppage time but we probably wouldn't have heard anything about this non-descript friendly had it not been for Diallo's bizarre intervention.
