So much
for golf's reputation as a genteel, sedate sport - players in Australia must
contend with the world's most dangerous water hazard.

Golf Club, just outside Brisbane, boasts a lake inhabited by dozens of killer
bull sharks.

As our
footage shows, any players trying to retrieve the ball after a wayward tee shot
should probably think again.

beasts are thought to have washed into the lake from the Coral Sea in the 1990s,
and have since multiplied.

A spokesman said: "There
are up to 30 in there."

Staff now
feed the sharks with chickens, and the predator has been taken on as the
course's mascot.
