Forget Brazil 1970, Argentina 2006 or the current Barcelona team – the greatest team goal may have been scored by a bunch of kids in Greece.
The above video shows the team in orange produce some amazing total football as they string 20 passes together straight from kick-off before finding the net, but it is not the Dutch but rather AO Giannina who produced the wonder goal.
It appears that all 11 Giannina players are involved in the move – even the goalkeeper plays his part– and the slick passing was produced despite the pitch looking more than a little dodgy.
The unlucky team on the other end of the goal was Atromitos and they must have been fearing the worst after watching the match begin in such a manner.
With that in mind it is perhaps admirable that they only lost the match 6-1.
Enjoy the superb team goal and let's know if you've seen one better.
