It's a topic that divides sports fans: are inflatable toys being thrown around just a bit of fun to help pass the time during a lull in play, or are they incredibly annoying?
Well, we certainly know where this Arizona Wildcats fan stands on the debate, given his conduct during the American Football team's 58-13 win over UNLV.
He decided that he really, really didn't like beach balls being thrown around in the stands, so as the harmless inflatable passed close by he quickly grabbed hold of it.
But instead of either confiscating it temporarily to cool down, or throwing it way out of his eyesight, he took altogether more drastic action.
Yes, he promptly put it on the floor and trampled the poor beach ball to death.
The swift and merciless execution of the inflatable toy prompted a very mixed response from fellow fans.
Presumably his friends around him exchanged high-fives and applauded his action, while others showed apparent disapproval - after all, they were previously enjoying the fun.
What seemed the most provocative action from the man besides extinguishing the ball, was how he then seemed to clap himself, or perhaps sarcastically applauding the people who had been ruining his day.
Either way, it brought back memories of the time when a beach ball found its way on to a pitch and played a famous part in the action itself.
Remember this, Liverpool and Sunderland fans? Darren Bent certainly does...
