Tour Pro’s golf trick shot video finishes with a ‘William Tell’ moment

Northern Ireland's Gareth Maybin has always been one of the nearly men of British golf.

The 32-year-old has 11 top-10 finishes to his name on the European Tour since turning pro in 2005, though he's as yet been unable to make the breakthrough into the winners' circle.

Yet if he fails to make it as a touring professional, it seems that an alternate career as a trick shot artist would be his for the taking. He has just shown off his skills in a new online video, in which he hits balls that he has been juggling on his feet, tees off from the mouth of a willing (and very brave) volunteer... and even hits a coke can off the top of someone's head at 50 yards.

Most of the tricks are clearly genuine, though the relatively shaky filming of the final trick does suggest there might have been a bit of special effects used in the making. Even if that were the case, however, it's pretty amazing stuff.
