    • 90+3' Hleb with a great chance as Ballack 'hurt' on the floor plays him onside - he is up very quickly to cover men in the box! - and the Belarusian's shot is blocked by Cech... and the rebound is into the side-netting.
    • 90+1' WHAT A CHANCE FOR BOJAN!! Alves's cross is perfect and the teenager arrives unmarked to head over!!
    • 90' Five minutes of time added on signalled as Iniesta goes down - the tackle was clean though.
    • 89' The Drog eating up seconds after he is caught in a challenge. Free-kick to Chelsea.
    • 88' Time running out for Barca, who face hated rivals Real Madrid in a vital Liga match this weekend that you can enjoy with Eurosport-Yahoo!
    • 87' Barca change: Alexander Hleb on for Henry.
    • 86' Drogba flicks on to no one and Valdes will get Barca started again. They have not failed to score at home in any other game this season.
    • 85' The ball across is low and knocked away with many men arriving.
    • 84' Iniesta breaks towards the box as he is played in but Ballack blocks him off with his hand!! No second yellow, to Barca's consternation, but a free-kick just outside the box down the left side...
    • 83' Abidal and Henry break after the former's excellent interception... Chelsea again solid and concede a throw-in.
    • 82' Barca change: after the corner is headed away, Bojan comes on for Eto'o.
    • 81' Barca counter-attack as Iniesta goes outside Terry on the left and gets a shot on goal from an acute angle; Cech parries for a corner. Again you feel that Barca are not quite releasing the ball early enough.
    • 80' All-action Alves back to clear for a corner as the nippy Malouda threatens to get in behind...
    • 79' Bojan Krkic readying himself to come on for the Blaugrana.
    • 78' Drogba has some magic spray applied to his back as play resumes.
    • 77' Henry wants a free-kick and Stark refuses to award one; Drogba kicks out at Puyol after another tackle puts him on the deck. No punishment.
    • 75' Puyol booked for a late tackle on Malouda and will miss the return leg as a result.
    • 74' Eto'o attacks the left side of the box and finds Henry in the middle, who twists and hits the deck; no penalty although Bosingwa had hold of his shirt!! He was travelling backwards and on his way down when the challenge happened, but it was clear contact nonetheless.
    • 73' The away fans making themselves heard inside this vast cauldron as there is a brief lull in the noise.
    • 72' Messi won a corner off Cech which Pique headed over before that change.
    • 71' Chelsea change: A rapturous reception for Juliano Belletti, scorer of Barca's winning goal in the final in 2006, as he replaces Lampard. That is a surprise.
    • 70' Eto'o breaks free of the centre-halves and has Henry in the middle as Cech comes out; his shot is saved!! The defenders were back but Eto'o, who had turned Alex inside out on the halfway line and nutmegged Terry, dummied Alex again and shot instead of passing square.
    • 69' Drogba wins a free-kick. Chelsea have been excellent in defence tonight.
    • 68' Alves bends it around the wall but it lands on top of the net.
    • 67' Iniesta felled by Lampard; Barca free-kick 30 yards outside the box in a central position.
    • 66' Abidal with a dangerous low cross which is defended before Essien belts his second ball in away in the air.
    • 65' Anelka warming up on the touchline. Will he get on at some point, the former Real Madrid striker?
    • 64' Alves gets a ball down the line for Eto'o which loops off a Chelsea defender, but the Cameroon star is offside.
    • 63' Drogba on his feet after he is seen to by the visiting physio following an aerial bang from Pique.
    • 62' Messi looking for space 25 yards out where there is none but Alves can surge down the right... his shot is fierce and Cech is equal to it.
    • 61' Messi does well to charge down a clearance and Barca have a corner...
    • 60' Messi wins a corner and Xavi loops it to the far side of the area where Messi volleys over the near post. Quality effort.
    • 59' Essien back to dig out a clearance close to his goal under pressure from Iniesta, who is all over the pitch as usual.
    • 58' Alves breaks into the box as a ball forward just evades the head of Terry, but the wide man cannot quite control it.
    • 57' Puyol intercepts as Malouda piles forward.
    • 55' Excellent slide and control from Xavi, who is running the midfield with Iniesta but with no tangible reward just yet. The wind has gone out of the home side's attacking sails a bit.
    • 54' Alves rolling around claiming injury after Lampard caught him late. Ivanovic puts the ball out after a rubbish clearance from Cech. Brazilian Alves is making a meal of it.
    • 53' Terry with a solid tackle to stop Iniesta.
    • 52' Barca change: Puyol on for Marquez.
    • 51' Marquez leaves on a stretcher which thumbs a lift from one of those little cars. The crowd clap him off.
    • 50' Henry up and leaves for the touchline for a bit more treatment. Barca have the ball and Marquez pulls up with a strain, managing to kick the ball out as he goes down!! Good effort.
    • 49' Henry hurt in a challenge with Alex. He was caught both with his head and shoulder after flicking the ball on - it was an accident.
    • 48' Drogba whips it in from the left and Ballack heads wide!! Excellent chance for a man of his aerial prowess.
    • 47' Malouda hits the deck as he tussles with Alves. He wins the free-kick - it was pretty acrobatic.
    • 46' The second half begins with Chelsea kicking to our right.
    • - Ray Wilkins says: "We have been dictated to by Barcelona and we have to impose our own game on them now. If Didier gets another chance he will score it."
    • - Chelsea will be pleased to have kept it goalless - Barca were leading 4-0 at half-time in each of their previous home matches in this season's competition - but could rue that Drogba miss later on.
    • 45+1' Iniesta sneaks inside and plays a low through-ball for Henry but it is just too quick for the striker. And the whistle goes to end the half 0-0.
    • 44' An Iniesta blast from distance is saved by Cech in a standing position.
    • 43' Henry coming in from the left, teasing Ivanovic; he goes down the outside but hesitates and the chance is gone.
    • 42' Drogba grabs the bull by the proverbial horns and bursts past his marker - then slips to lose the chance of a shot inside the box!! He wants a penalty but won't get it for that. Marquez then slides in on Malouda and the latter also wants a penalty... it was a subdued appeal, but the tackle looked dubious on the by-line in the corner of the box.
    • 41' There is a hush around the stadium now as the Catalans contemplate how close they came to going a goal down. With a goal behind them, Chelsea would really dig in...
    • 40' Marquez failed to connect properly with a backpass and looked to grab the striker back... the Drog got away though and banged a shot at goal which Valdes did brilliantly to stop before getting up to get a hand to Drogba's flicked rebound. Should have been a goal.
    • 39' CHANCE FOR DROGBA... SAVED BY VALDES!! ANOTHER CHANCE FOR THE IVORIAN... SAVED AGAIN!!
    • 37' Yaya Toure booked now for dissent after he demanded punishment for a foul on Iniesta. The Camp Nou gets all hysterical.
    • 36' Ivanovic earns a lucky free-kick as Henry closes him down near the by-line. Terry Henry is not happy.
    • 35' Iniesta scoops one over the top that Cech claims. A lot of off-the-ball stuff follows with Drogba hilariously claiming Alves dived on the touchline, although he had a point; then Alves and Malouda also have a coming together.
    • 34' Iniesta on the left after good work by Messi, setting up a ball for Henry... his shot is hard and true and beaten out for a corner by Cech!!
    • 33' Bosingwa cannot clear properly and the pressure remains on Guus Hiddink's side.
    • 32' Barca are the only side in the semi-finals not from England. Manchester United and Arsenal will face off tomorrow night at Old Trafford.
    • 31' Henry springs the offside trap but is on the left touchline... he cuts in and shoots low to the near post, where Czech shot-stopper Cech does his job.
    • 30' The yellow card comes out for Ballack for a dirty foul on Henry. He can be a nasty player sometimes, the German.
    • 29' Abidal played in by Henry down the left and crosses too close to Cech. The France star is in the side at the expense of Puyol, who has featured on the left side of defence recently.
    • 28' Alves passes square to Xavi and he looks to shoot from 25 yards despite a lack of space... the ball is just wide of the far post!! Very close, although Cech may have had it covered.
    • 27' Mikel blocks an Iniesta cross. Barca begin again from the halfway line.
    • 26' Xavi's kick from over 25 yards out strikes the wall and flies out for a corner.
    • 25' Alex kicks Messi as he runs past and the crowd howl for a yellow card. They get it.
    • 24' A great run forward on the left by Henry... he is on the by-line and tackled by Alex as he looked for support. The corner comes to nothing.
    • 23' Barca taking far too long to produce a cross or shot as Messi comes inside again looking for the one-two; Alves loath to cross with his right foot for some reason and Iniesta eventually trickles a shot wide. He wants a corner but doesn't get it.
    • 22' The Blues keeping the ball well in midfield, Jon Obi Mikel and Drogba combining to feed Malouda. The French winger then strays offside on the left.
    • 21' Another long ball forward from Cech - there was one earlier that Drogba threatened to get on the end of - goes through to Valdes.
    • 20' Messi blasts high and wide following a lay-off from Eto'o. He was 25 yards out.
    • 19' So far, so good for Chelsea. However Barca have had the better chances.
    • 18' Eto'o spins and shoots wide of the far post, with John Terry, Alex and Ballack all throwing themselves in front of the ball.
    • 17' Messi shapes to shoot but it is blocked 18 yards out. He has shown sparks but not lived up to his billing so far.
    • 16' Messi with one of those runs across the box, playing a one-two, but there are too many men in between him and the goal. Alves then wastes a chance to cross decisively with men in the box.
    • 15' The crowd going nuts after Alex caught Marquez late during a Chelsea attack which just ran out of steam. No yellow card though from Wolfgang Stark.
    • 14' Messi tears down the right, away from Bosingwa, who takes him down!! No yellow card but Xavi now has a chance to cross from the free-kick level with the edge of the box on the right... Messi whips it way out of play instead. Poor.
    • 13' Ballack punished for a challenge on Iniesta. He went down easily.
    • 12' Petr Cech dives out to get a hand to an Abidal cross from the left with Xavi arriving. Eto'o cannot get there before Bosingwa.
    • 11' Michael Ballack back to block an Eto'o pass down the line for Messi. Bosingwa clears up.
    • 10' A counter-attack led by Iniesta ends with Messi trying to go through two men in the box instead of shooting. Chelsea working hard in midfield.
    • 8' Andres Iniesta with some fantastic quick feet to get away from Essien and release a team-mate. Nothing comes of it.
    • 7' Barca keeping the ball, as you'd expect. Chelsea will look to attack on the counter, more directly.
    • 6' A hopeful punt up front from Chelsea's midfield. The chants of 'Barca! Barca!' begin - the home side have swept others away in the early stages of matches in this season's competition.
    • 5' Florent Malouda catches home keeper Victor Valdes late to whistles from the fans. At the other end Dani Alves tears down the right and centres... to the far side and out of play!!
    • 4' Michael Essien comes forward and tees up Lampard, whose first-time shot is a couple of feet wide.
    • 3' Early scare for Chelsea there. Messi makes a hash of controlling a pass on the right touchline - most unlike him.
    • 2' Thierry Henry earns an early free-kick for Barca on the left. Xavi will whip it in... Samuel Eto'o heads it back across and Drogba turns his back as Branislav Ivanovic misses the ball - and Rafael Marquez cannot steer it home at the far post!!
    • 1' We get underway to a massive roar, Chelsea kicking from right to left.
    • - Chelsea all in yellow as they line up for kick-off.
    • - The teams emerge to the sight of one side of the ground depicting the European Cup in yellow against a backdrop of maroon and blue, the colours of Barca - and originally from Switzerland courtesy of founder Joan Gamper.
    • - The atmosphere is building inside this grand stadium in the heart of Catalunya as these clubs ready themselves to resume their recent Champions League battles.
    • - Chelsea have only suffered one defeat in their last 14 games in the Champions League. Chelsea keeper Petr Cech is the only player left remaining in the competition to have played every minute so far (900).
    • - Barcelona have scored more goals (29) and attempted more shots (141) than any other side in the competition this season. Xavi has assisted six goals in the Champions League so far this season - more than any other player.
    • - Chelsea are unbeaten in their last seven Champions League matches against Spanish opposition, while Barca have only managed to win once in their last six Champions League matches against English opposition. Barcelona have been knocked out of the competition by an English side in each of the last two seasons - last term they exited at the semi-final stage to Manchester United.

    • - Didier Drogba scored in both legs of the last Champions League tie between the teams, while the Ivorian has scored in each of Chelsea's last five European matches. Frank Lampard has scored in three of the last five meetings between Chelsea and Barca.
    • - The Catalans have managed just one win in their last five games against Chelsea in Europe - and that came at Stamford Bridge. Barca are one of only three away sides to manage a win at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League, along with Lazio and Besiktas.
    • - This will be the 12th competitive meeting between these two sides in Europe. Chelsea have won four and Barcelona have prevailed in five.
    • - Ricardo Carvalho is injured for Chelsea and regular left-back Ashley Cole suspended. Gabriel Milito is the long-term injury absentee for the home side.
    • - Barca are as you'd expect, although captain Carles Puyol has been left out in favour of former Manchester United man Gerard Pique.
    • - So as expected Chelsea field Jose Bosingwa at left-back to counter the attacking threat of Lionel Messi. There is no place for either Nicolas Anelka or Salomon Kalou, with Frank Lampard and Florent Malouda set to back up Didier Drogba.
    • - The teams are in: Barcelona: Valdes, Dani Alves, Marquez, Pique, Abidal, Xavi, Toure Yaya, Iniesta, Messi, Eto'o, Henry; subs: Jorquera, Puyol, Gudjohnsen, Bojan, Keita, Sylvinho, Hleb.
