    • 90+5 The whistle goes - BAYERN CLAIM THE TREBLE.
    • 90+4 Boka whips a cross in and Tasci gets to it but Neuer claims and that's the last chance.
    • 90+3 Ulreich makes his way into the box after Müller gives away a silly free-kick – the ball is delivered deep into the box and Okazaki rises well but heads wide of goal.
    • 90+1 A minimum of four added minutes.
    • 90' Shaqiri on for Ribery as the clock ticks to 90.
    • 88' Stuttgart corner in the dying minutes here as Heynckes cuts a desperate figure on the line - the corner goes out before swinging back in! What a waste.
    • 86' Bayern look like they have run out of steam – but Müller breaks between two players and centres for Mandzukic but he can’t get the required connection.
    • 85' Schweinsteiger thrashes the free-kick against the wall.
    • 84' Lahm leads a break out from the back and Boka takes his leg as he gets near the box.
    • 83' Robben sacrificed for Tymoshchuk.
    • 82' Plenty of time left in this one.
    • 81' Tymoshchuk is being readied on the side as Bayern look to bring some decorum to proceedings.
    • 81' This is incredible.
    • 80' GOOAL!! Incredible scenes. Harnik with a second – outrageous. Okazaki’s shot from the half-clearance from Schweinsteiger hits the post and falls to Harnik. His first effort is saved by Neuer but he slots the rebound in. Game on.
    • 79' Schweinsteiger hacks the corner half clear.
    • 78' Okazaki with a neat swivel and volley that strikes the hand of Boateng – the Stuttgart players are incandescent that they don’t have a penalty.
    • 77' Okazaki is in behind but Robben tracks the run all the way to clear.
    • 76' Lahm with a hand-ball some 30 or so yards from goal and all the big men are up from the back but Boka’s delivery to the far post has too much on it.
    • 74' Cacau for Traore.
    • 73' Ribery looks to restore the three goal-advantage but his shot is parried by Ulreich.
    • 72' Only one side has ever recovered from a two goal deficit in a German Cup final – and that was Bayern in 1982. (Infostrada)
    • 71' GOOOOAL!!! Great header from Harnik, who gets his head to a deep delivery from Sakai to send the ball back past Neuer. 3-1.
    • 70' A great exchange of passing sees Robben into the box before the Dutchman goes down under a challenge – nothing doing there though. Lovely back-heel from Müller.
    • 68' Traore finds a pocket of space and waits for Sakai to join him - he elects not to square the ball to the recently introduced substitute but has his shot blocked.
    • 67' Molinaro off for Sakai.
    • 66' OPTA: Mario Gomez scored the 700. goal for Bayern with coach Jupp Heynckes (312 competitive matches). Jubilee.
    • 65' The resultant corner is floated to Robben on the edge and while he shapes beautifully his volley is a rather snatched affair and it is cleared for another corner.
    • 64' It is attack after attack now as Müller lets the ball run for Alaba but his shot is blocked.
    • 63' Maxim, who has been Stuttgart’s brightest player, is hooked for Okazaki.
    • 61' That’s Gomez’s last action – on in his stead is Mandzukic.
    • 61' GOOOOAL!! And that is that. Gomez with his second and his side’s third. Schweinsteiger feeds Müller down the right who squares for the former Stuttgart man to dispatch with aplomb from ten yards out.
    • 59' Bayern have really picked things up now.
    • 58' GREAT MOVE!! The ball is moved forward at speed and Robben feeds Gomez who looks for Lahm with an inventive back-heel but the full-back just can’t get to it.
    • 57' Boka draws aim from distance but it is always in hope rather than expectation as it drifts aimlessly wide.
    • 56' Heynckes is bellowing orders from the side as he is not happy with his side’s lack of application these last ten minutes.
    • 55' Robben looks to get in behind but he goes a fraction too soon and is adjudged to be offside.
    • 53' Schweinsteiger takes aim from distance but the effort dribbles wide.
    • 52' From our friends at Opta: 6 - Thomas Müller already had a hand in 6 goals in the previous 3 competitive matches against Stuttgart (4 goals, 2 assists). Bugaboo.
    • 51' There is a celebratory atmosphere in the Olympic Stadium – that goal looks like it has killed this one off.
    • 49' Gomez hadn’t had much of a sniff up until that point and almost contrived to miss the chance but that’s a goalscorer for you.
    • 48' GOOOAL!! Molinaro’s loose header finds Robben, who waits for the over-lapping Lahm and he thrashes it across goal to the waiting Gomez who bundles it in.
    • 48' Gomez is in behind and Ulreich makes the odd decision to come to try to clear but Molinaro intervenes to clear.
    • 47' Maxim does well to evade the clutches of Schweinsteiger who resorts to hacking the midfielder down. The Romanian swings the free-kick over but it is cleared.
    • 46' Stuttgart get the second half under way.
    • - Again from Opta - Mario Gomez scored 9 goals for Bayern Munich in 8 competitive matches against his former club VfB Stuttgart. Attention - but he hasn't had a sniff bar that late chance.
    • 45+1 And that's it from the first half - thoroughly entertaining.
    • 45' Gomez, who has been pretty abject, has a late chance but his volley – on the swivel – is over.
    • 44' And if you'd like to send your thoughs my way then you'll find me @mmjfoley.
    • 43' A nice little stat from Opta: Bayern won only 2 of the last 5 competitive games with referee Gräfe (1 draw, 2 losses), but 1 win was a 2-1 against Stuttgart. Neutral.
    • 42' The Bavarians are looking a lot more assured now and their strength, composure and experience sees them play the half out relatively easily.
    • 41' The corner is again quite easily cleared.
    • 40' Alaba again deep in Stuttgart territory but he is met by the imposing figure of Niedermeier and Bayern have a corner. Great feet by Ribery in the build up there as he left Rudiger on the floor.
    • 39' Credit to Stuttgart they come back strongly but Rudiger's ball in behind is read by Boateng who comes across to clear.
    • 38' This is a huge ten minutes or so for Stuttgart – they started so well but that is a big psychological blow right there.
    • 37' Müller strokes the ball into the bottom left with Ulreich going bottom right. 1-0.
    • 36' Yellow for Traore - what was he thinking?
    • 35' Oh dear. Lahm, for the first time this half, breaks forward and Traore leans in inside the box and it is a penalty – no question.
    • 34' Bayern shifting the ball well now and dragging the Stuttgart defence left and right.
    • 33' Harnik has to start offering more protection to Rudiger as he is getting consistently over-loaded.
    • 32' Bayern, although not at their best, are a potent side and the balance of play is increasingly shifting their way.
    • 30' ...but the referee gives a corner.
    • 29' Bayern taking stock with a little bit of measured possession now – and they work the ball well though midfield until Robben lifts the ball to Alaba. Robben is after a return ball that he gets to before Tasci who hacks the flying winger down inside the box for a definite penalty...
    • 28' Alaba coming to the fore. Ribery this time finds the marauding full-back who cuts back when he may have been better shooting – it is easily cleared.
    • 26' But Bayern are some team on the counter. Müller feeds the on-rushing Alaba who is through in on Ulreich. The Austrian fires an effort straight at the keeper and the chance has gone.
    • 25' Maxim, who is operating in a free role, has his through-ball cleared for another corner.
    • 24' Gomez in behind but Tasci does well to follow him into the corner and snuff out the danger
    • 23' Lahm looks for Robben but the ball has too much pace on it and the Dutchman can’t bring it under control.
    • 22' It has to be said that Stuttgart are the better side.
    • 21' Magnificent double save from Neuer. The set-piece is delivered at pace and Neuer has to be alert to make a double stop. The first one appears to be a deflection off Schweinsteiger’s head and then he has to be up quick to prevent Niedermeierher with the follow up.
    • 19' Martinez with an over-zealous challenge on Boka down the left and Stuttgart have a set-piece in a decent area.
    • 18' Alaba and Lahm are pinned back at the moment – another Stuttgart corner is cleared though.
    • 17' Maxim swings the corner over and while Harnik rises well he heads over the bar – bit of a sneaky push in the back from van Buyten at the set-piece.
    • 16' Stuttgart are really using the dimensions of the pitch here – every time a Stuttgart player collects the ball they look for the switch. This time Alaba has to be alert as he clears for a corner.
    • 14' Ribery again threatens but Rudiger intercepts for a throw.
    • 13' Schweinsteiger is back in his own box to clear a Maxim through-ball – this is end to end stuff.
    • 12' Ribery collects the ball wide left, waits for Robben to overlap and feeds the Dutchman but his cross – looking for Gomez – is cleared for a corner. Again a poor set-piece.
    • 11' The corner – a dreadful one – is over-hit. The ball comes to Schweinsteiger and he is hacked down for the second time in quick succession.
    • 10' Robben breaks at speed and comes inside, skips past three and feeds the arriving Ribery. The Frenchman scuffs his effort across goal from just inside the box and Tasci just about hacks it clear.
    • 9' Great switch of play from Ibisevic in the build up there.
    • 8' BIG CHANCE!! Traore is found in space down the right and he steadies himself before lifting a ball into the box – Maxim, who is in a pocket of space, turns it towards goal, and it just goes wide.
    • 6' It is of some surprise that Gomez has started ahead of Mandzukic but we’ll see how it pans out as the game progresses.
    • 5' Bayern are really pressing Stuttgart back at the start here but Maxim looks for a ball in behind. Neuer mops up.
    • 4' Boka scythes down Schweinsteiger as the German gallops forward – pretty agricultural challenge that but the referee elects not to produce a yellow.
    • 3' Maxim looks for Traore down the channel but the pass has too much on it and it is out for a goal kick.
    • 2' Robben with an early chance as the Dutchman is in behind the Stuttgart defence – he looks to square the ball for Gomez but it comes off Ulreich’s shoulder and is out for a corner.
    • 1' And we’re underway.
    • 18:55 As we wait for kick-off why not have a look at our preview here.
