    Time:90'
    • Switzerland U-21
    • Iceland U-21
    • 90+4' There goes the final whistle! Switzerland heading for the semis after a 2-0 win. Iceland lose 2-0 for the second successive game.
    • 90+2' Eyjolfsson is the latest man to be booked for Iceland. Not sure what that one was for.
    • 90+1' Four minutes to be added.
    • 89' All sorts going on in that Switzerland box. Sommer dropped it, but Iceland could not force the ball over the line. Sums up their day really as the referee signals for a foul against the Icelandic team.
    • 88' A booking for Ben Khalifa. Think he is booked for another handling offence. Another harsh decision.
    • 87' Ball back with Bjornsson in goal. He is one of the few Iceland players to impress this afternoon.
    • 86' Abrashi hammers a shot wide from a little pass by Shaqiri. Disappointing finish from the edge of the area.
    • 85' An offside flag goes up against Ben Khalifa. Looks like the Swiss are going to settle for the 2-0 win.
    • 84' Strong rampaging play by Sigurdsson, but he is well held up by Koch before he fouls the Swiss player.
    • 83' Gavranovic departs to be replaced by Nassim Ben Khalifa. Sounds like a typical Zurich name.
    • 82' Emeghara seems to be limping. That will be a concern for the Swiss ahead of what is likely to be a Group A decider against Belarus.
    • 81' Constanzo is felled by Kristjansson in the middle of the park. Clever play by the substitute.
    • 80' Iceland not dealing too well with the Swiss raids on their goal. Has been the story of the day for them so far.
    • 79' Great turn of pace by the threatening Emeghara to crack a shot at goal. Got hold of the shot, but Bjornsson does enough to keep the ball out.
    • 78' Shaqiri moaning about a decision going against him as he tangled with Eyjolfsson. His work surely done for the day.
    • 77' Strong play by Bjarnason. Hammered a shot against Rossini. Looked like a handball, but the referee misses the handball. Iceland out of luck there.
    • 76' Emeghara needing a bit of treatment. Looked like he went over on his ankle there.
    • 75' Fine tackle by Jonsson as he races back to get a touch on the ball as Emeghara threathened to race clear.
    • 74' Gislason throwing himself around up front, but Koch takes no chances as he hammers the ball long. Switzerland don't need to take any chances.
    • 73' Gislason and Emeghara battling for the ball, but the Swiss forward gets the benefit of the doubt there. Great work from the Swiss forward.
    • 72' Switzerland would have to stage a monumental collapse to fail to pick up three points from this match now.
    • 71' Not seen much of Shaqiri in this half, but he shows some great skill there to throw a fine cross into the area. No takers.
    • 70' Sigthorsson working really hard to hold the ball up, but he has little or no support as the Swiss break up the attack.
    • 69' Good play by Vidarsson to race back and knock the ball off Berardi.
    • 68' A long throw-in from Berardi, but Shaqiri is penalised for pushing Valgardsson in the box.
    • 67' Amir Abrashi is wheeled on to take over from Granit Xhaka for the Swiss.
    • 66' Switzerland getting ready to throw on another body here by the looks of things. Looking to close down this match. Another goal would do the trick for them.
    • 65' Frei departs for the Swiss to be replaced by Moreno Costanzo.
    • 64' Offside flag goes up against Gislason after he slipped the ball home from close range. Well offside. No goal. Swiss continue to lead 2-0.
    • 63' A few of the Iceland fans enjoying a beer or three in the stands. At least they are getting something out of this game.
    • 62' Offside flag goes up against Gavranovic after he sped forward too soon.
    • 61' Jonsson attempts a speculative effort from distance, but the ball spins off a red shirt before landing in the arms of Sommer.
    • 60' Iceland manager Eyjólfur Sverrisson out on the touchline, but his side are facing elimination from this tournament unless they can find some magic quickly.
    • 59' Change coming for Iceland. Second one of the day as Bjarnason arrives to replace Vidarsson.
    • 58' Sommer out to collect a cross ball from Sigthorsson with some authority. He looks like a safe pair of hands.
    • 57' The Swiss fell out of their opening match against Denmark at this stage. Would be keen to avoid a similar collapse this evening. By far the better team so far.
    • 56' Shaqiri taken out of the play late by Kristjansson. More lovely play by the little Swiss magician.
    • 55' Almost a shock goal for Iceland! Sigthorsson should have scored from Sigurdsson's cross, but Frei got back to knock the ball off the line. Should have made it 2-1 there.
    • 54' Swiss with another free-kick chance that hits the wall before Fjoluson knocks the ball out of play under pressure from Shaqiri.
    • 53' Vidarsson fouls Koch. Lucky to avoid another booking for what is a silly foul. Really silly.
    • 52' Iceland win a free-kick. Chance to pile the big bodies forward, but Eyjolfsson's free-kick comes to nothing. Ball back with Sommer.
    • 51' There are surely going to be more goals in this for the Swiss as Emeghara fouls Jonsson.
    • 50' Lovely piece of play by Shaqiri - who else - to give Sigurdsson the slip. Wonderful skill by the playmaker, who cracks a shot just wide of goal. Superb play.
    • 49' Gavranovic goes for goal from distance. Got plenty of pace on the ball, but just over the bar from 20 yards. More sloppy play by Iceland.
    • 48' Iceland make a change at the outset of the second half with Alfred Finnbogasson replaced by Sigurdarson.
    • 47' Should be just a formality to complete the victory. Could be a showdown with Belarus to decide the winner of this group if Belarus down Denmark later this evening.
    • 46' The Swiss get this second period off and running.
    • 45+1' There goes the whistle for the break. Sigurdsson long with a free-kick from deep that flies out of play. That is half-time. The Swiss well on top, and then some.
    • 44' Going to be a minute added to the half. Iceland will welcome the chance to regroup.
    • 43' A booking for Sigurdsson for bringing down Gavranovic as he tried to race up the field. Referee got that decision spot on.
    • 42' Sigurdsson with a free-kick from out wide. Fairly drove that ball into the area, but Sommer fists it out of his box.
    • 41' A fifth goal in five games for Emeghara at this level. Iceland need to find a goal soon or they will be heading out of the tournament.
    • 40' Small posse of Swiss fans enjoying their day out here. Have to say, it is no more than the Swiss deserve for their efforts in this match.
    • 39' GOAL FOR SWITZERLAND! Emeghara lifts the ball over Bjornsson and that ends up in the net. The keeper got a foot to it, but the ball spins up and over him. His defenders couldn't keep it out. 2-0 to the Swiss.
    • 38' Sigurdsson throws over the free-kick. Ball swerving and dipping in the air, but decent handling by Sommer, who kept his eyes on it all the way.
    • 37' Xhaka harshly booked for a late tackle on Gislason. Nothing wrong with the tackle, but for some reason the referee says yellow card and free-kick. Strange decision.
    • 36' Iceland threatening to be undone by their own soft defence. Koch bursting forward without any challenge.
    • 35' Gavranovic cuts open the Iceland defence this time. Neat bit of play, but Bjornsson dives to make the save from the Swiss midfielder. Almost the second. Again.
    • 34' Jonsson takes a long throw from out wide. Pierces the Swiss penalty box, but Sigthorsson can't get the flick-on with his head at the near post.
    • 33' Old cliche, but while there is only one goal in it, Iceland remain in this game. Saw that with England and Spain the other night.
    • 32' Offside flag goes up against Sigthorsson as he prepared to pull the trigger. So many bodies offside there. Iceland coming to life a bit here.
    • 31' Gislason thumps a fine shot at goal from distance. Sommer scrambles across the goal to make the save. Much better from Iceland. Asking questions of the Swiss all of a sudden.
    • 30' Vidarsson had a chance there to crack a shot at goal, but he hesistated and Koch got back to make the tackle.
    • 29' That was a wonderful little dash forward. Swiss are surely going to nab a second goal here as Shaqiri brings the ball out of his own half.
    • 28' A stunning run from Xhaka! Inches over the bar with his shot! Not sure if Bjornsson got a touch on that shot, but it is given as a goalkick to Iceland.
    • 27' Gislason brings down Rossini as he burst out from the back. A strong surging run from the defender and the Swiss back on the ball.
    • 26' Iceland will be happy to get to the break only one down at this rate. The Swiss with so many options when they go forward.
    • 25' Lovely corner there from Shaqiri, but solid enough handling skills from Bjornsson who punches the ball to safety.
    • 24' Another loose ball falls to the Swiss as they go backwards to mount another attack. Emeghara almost in for the second, but Iceland hack the ball away. Another corner to the Swiss.
    • 23' Swiss again keeping the ball. Very impressive technical skills from the Swiss it must be said.
    • 22' Decent judgement by Jonsson to nod the ball back to his keeper under pressure from Emeghara.
    • 21' Sigurdsson has a crack from 30 yards out. Decent hit, but was always sailing wide of the target. Difficult to see where a goal for Iceland is coming from.
    • 20' Emeghara and Shaqiri again posing all the questions before Eyjolfsson gets back to make a frantic tackle. Swiss winning all the second balls.
    • 19' Superb turn inside the Iceland box by Emeghara! Turn and whacks a shot at the target that flies narrowly over the bar. Swiss utterly dominant.
    • 18' Emeghara throws a lovely little ball across the face of goal. Comes off the foot of Fjoluson and Frei narrowly misses connecting for his second of the day. So close.
    • 17' Gislason fails to keep a ball in play out wide and the Swiss can launch another attack. All very familiar.
    • 16' Shaqiri back on the attack. Ball seems to be attracted to his feet like a magnet before Iceland launch a long ball out of defence that flies well over the head of Sigurdsson.
    • 15' A ball from Koch out wide sails over the Iceland box and wide for a goalkick. Iceland needing every bit of respite.
    • 14' Iceland really struggling to find any fluency. They are pressing the game, but Shaqiri and Frei are causing all sorts of problems whenever the Swiss pick up.
    • 13' Frei floats it in. Not sure if that hit the head of the Swiss defender Rossini, but Switzerland win another corner seconds later than Emeghara fails to connect with at the back post.
    • 12' Gislason does well to cut out the cross from Berardi, but the Swiss have a corner to be taken by Frei.
    • 11' Some decent skills out wide by Gavranovic, but a timely tackle by Jonsson to halt his progress.
    • 10' Shaqiri taken out of the game late by Vidarsson. A late and a nasty tackle. A booking for the Iceland captain.
    • 9' Frei's free-kick is headed out by the blue shirts before Koch lifts an effort well over the bar from 25 yards. Swiss well on top in this one.
    • 8' Great stop by Bjornsson to keep out a rasping effort from Shaqiri. Almost a second for the Swiss. Iceland being pinned back.
    • 7' Sun is out now and again on the pitch, but not exactly a day for hitting the beach. Most of the sunny moments coming from the Swiss. Here they come again.
    • 6' Gavranovic turns in the opposition box. Fires in a shot at the Iceland goal, but a decent save by Bjornsson. Well taken by him.
    • 5' Sighthorsson goes for goal from distance, but just gets a bit too much on the ball as it flies over the bar. Worth a bash. Better for Iceland.
    • 4' Shaqiri just dropping into little pockets of the pitch that makes him uncomfortable for Iceland to pick him up. Swiss content to keep possession.
    • 3' Sigurdsson throws over a free-kick from out wide. Headed out by the Swiss defence. Iceland looking for an immediate response here. Caught cold by that goal.
    • 2' GOAL FOR SWITZERLAND! What a superb finish from Frei. Low and hard. Keeper no chance. Lovely ball over the top from Shaqiri. What a start for the Swiss.
    • 1' We are off and running in this one. Iceland in blue, the Swiss in red.
    • 16.57 Belarus and the Swiss with three points are at the top of Group A. Belarus are group leaders by one goal courtesy of their 2-0 win over Iceland in their opening match of the tournament. They face host nation Denmark later on this evening. We will, of course, have live coverage of that match for you from 19.45.
    • 16.55 Iceland’s star midfielder Aron Gunnarsson is banned after he was sent off for giving away a penalty in the opening-game defeat to Belarus. Johann Gudmundsson suffered a shoulder injury in that game and is a doubt, although a scan showed no serious damage, while Rurik Gislason is on a booking and possible ban.
    • 16.50 The referee is Marijo Strahonja of Croatia.
    • 16.45 Teams are in for the match - Switzerland U21: Sommer, Koch, Klose, Rossini, Berardi, Lustenberger, Shaqiri, Xhaka, Frei, Emeghara, Gavranovic Subs: Fickentscher, Daprela, Kasami, Costanzo, Mehmedi, Ben Khalifa, Affolter, Feltscher, Abrashi, Pavlovic, Hochstrasser, Siegrist Iceland: Bjornsson, Jonsson, Eyjolfsson, Fjoluson, Valgardsson, Kristjansson, Gislason, Vidarsson, Sigurdsson, Finnbogason, Sigthorsson Subs: Oskar Petursson, Sigurdarson, Bjarnason, Gudmundsson, Smarason, Helgason
    • 16.40 Tami added: "It will be difficult against Iceland because they have good forwards and to win this match we need to use our heads. We have to stay focused on our jobs, because every match has its own story."
    • 16.35 Brescia defender Gaetano Berardi was booked against Denmark, and will miss his team's match against Belarus if he picks up another yellow. Swiss coach Pierluigi Tami has said he might make changes for the match against Iceland. "For the first game I used players who had a little more experience," he said after they beat hosts Denmark 2-1. "Maybe I will change the starting line-up against Iceland. A couple of players used up a lot of energy on Saturday."
