    • 90' The ref doesn't even bother letting the 90 minutes run down as he blows for full-time, Sobiech's goal giving Poland a barely-deserved win. Just a training match though, they'll put out the big guns for the game against Slovakia.
    • 88' An error from Wasilewski lets Gauracs in but Fabianski claims.
    • 87' Savcenkovs is on for Latvia now.
    • 86' Grosicki has a pop from range and Dorosevs seems to tip it over but he didn't touch it, goal kick.
    • 84' JUST OVER BY WOJTKOWIAK! Superb free-kick by Murawski and the defender nodded it just over! Should have scored.
    • 83' Poland suddenly spark into life as they come forward again - Sobiech wins a free-kick on the edge of the box.
    • 82' Grosicki has been Poland's brightest player going forward and that was a clever shimmy and clipped cross. Those two will be in the 23 then.
    • 81' GOAL POLAND! Great cross from Grosicki and the sub Sobiech is unmarked to flick a header past Dorosevs into the top of the goal!
    • 80' A decent spell for Latvia seems the earn a corner - but Fabianski, who has had a good game, gathers easily and immediately launches if forward.
    • 78' LATVIA SUB: Gauracs has come on for Rudnevs.
    • 77' Matuschyk is booked for a late two-footed tackle on Cauna. Could easily have been red.
    • 75' Poor cross from Murawski, who is still on the field. I thought he'd gone off - he's been AWOL this half.
    • 74' All very scrapy now as Wawrzyniak is heavily tackled by Sinelnikovs
    • 72' LATVIA DOUBLE SUB: Pereplotkins on for Lukjanovs; Kamess on for Rubins
    • 71' POLAND SUB: Wawrzyniak on for Boesnich.
    • 70' Kucharczyk, who came on at half time, commits a foul while trying to meet Polanski's free-kick.
    • 69' Ivanovs is booked for a clear handball. Free-kick that Polanski will swing in from yards...
    • 68' The corner is headed behind by Gorkss, who concedes another corner.
    • 67' Poland come forward, Kaminski with a long-range effort that takes a huge deflection, leaving the keeper flat footed but spinning wide for a corner.
    • 65' Rudnevs wriggles through a few challenges in the Poland box but the Lech striker - who joins Hamburg in the summer I am told - handles in the process.
    • 64' POLAND SUB: Kaminski comes on for Jodlowiec.
    • 63' Fabianski claims the ball from the corner. Poland will make a sub.
    • 62' Latvia with an increasingly rare attack, although it yields a corner.
    • 60 Grosicki tries a curling cross from the left but Gorkss clears. The Sivasspor winger gets it back but his second ball is easy for the keeper.
    • 58' Almost some comical defending from Latvia but Sobiech can't latch on to it.
    • 57' POLAND SUB: Sobiech on for Brozek.
    • 56' Free-kick to Poland on the left... curled in and Boesnich flies in with the header but just wide! Looked in to many, the few fans in the stands were celebrating!
    • 55' Cute backheel from Rudnevs but it doesn't pay off with his team-mates none the wise to it.
    • 53' Both sides trade counters but the flag is up for Poland's down the left.
    • 52' Sinelnikovs trips Brozek and Poland have a free-kick.
    • 50' Cauna has been the most dangerous Latvia player ad he fires a low shot straight at Fabianski. He plays for CSKA Moscow. You may remember him from a brief spell at Watford.
    • 48' Grosicki with the first half-chance of the second half but he blasts it well over from the edge of the bo.
    • 47' Przemek Kruk in our Polish office tells me that the point of this match is to trim the 26-man squad to 23. He says 17 of the 26 will feature tonight, and from them three will be told they're not making it.
    • 46' The second half is underway.
    • 45+1 Half-time and goalless in this friendly in Austria.
    • 45' OFF THE POST FOR POLAND! Wasilewski with the header after a great cross by Murawski.
    • 44' Yellow card for Fertovs after a tangle with Polanski - incredibly harsh.
    • 43' Latvia still haven't cleared the ball properly and Murawski has a pop from range but tipped behind by the keeper!
    • 42' Poor defending by Latvia as a straight through ball is not cleared, Grosicki first comes down the right but his low cross misses Brozek and flies clear!
    • 40' I may not have clarified this but the game is being played at the Woertherseestadion in Austria. It's the home of SK Austria Kaernten. Still you'd think there'd be a few thousand Poles or Latvians living locally who'd have come down for the night out.
    • 39' Cauna comes forward for Latvia and he has a pop from range but again Fabianski follows it all the way down, an easy save but a good hold.
    • 37' Poland have a throw on the right wing which Wojtkowiak will take - cleared by Latvia though.
    • 35' Back to the cagey play of earlier after that spell of interest. Obviously this Poland team is not representative of the side that will turn out at the Euros, as most of the big names are missing.
    • 33' Free-kick to Poland on the right, swung in by Murawski but it flies wide for a goal kick although I thought Wojtkowiak cold have attacked it better.
    • 32' ALMOST A GOAL FOR LATVIA! Just over from Klava, a good header but weak marking from Jodlowiec.
    • 31' Poland fail to adequately defend the corner but Latvia can't get a toe on the loose ball in the box: Wasilewski again puts behind, and again rants at his team-mates.
    • 30' Wasilewski is furious with his team-mates for letting Latvia cut through them so easily, the tough defender having just been forced to head behind for a corner.
    • 29' Lukjanovs finds a lot of space wide left but his cross is cleared. Latvia keep the ball though, promising for them.
    • 28' Poland come at Latvia again but the final ball aimed for Brozek lands for Dorosevs, who is looking for a club after Gabala in Azerbaijan.
    • 27' Easy claim for Fabianski from the corner, and he launches it forward for a counter attack. Visknakovs reads it and puts the ball out for a throw.
    • 26' GOOD SAVE FABIANSKI! A superb long-range effort from Lukjanovs after working a yard of space to shoot, but the flying keeper palms it behind two-handed. Corner.
    • 25' A drop ball after Polanski went down with Latvia kicking it back to Poland's defence, greeted with applause from about 20 people.
    • 23' Brozek sneaks in down the left and he should finish but opts for a cut-back that Mierzejewski can't convert! Just ahead of him and Latvia scramble it clear! Gorkss getting it away.
    • 22' Long-range effort from Fertovs but pretty much straight at Fabianski, who dives low to gather.
    • 20' GOOD SAVE DOROSEVS! Wolski was sent through by Brozek but the debutant was unable to beat the Latvia keeper with a low finish! Best chance so far.
    • 19' Latvia playing it about at the back now. The possession doesn't last long though and Poland have it back.
    • 18' The long throw is flicked on by Rudnevs but Fabianski gets there first and he holds on this time.
    • 17' Latvia come forward to win a corner. Fabianski flaps somewhat at the delivery but it goes out for a throw on the right.
    • 16' Dangerous low ball from Mierzejewski on the left after good play by Murawski, but Dorosevs the keeper manages to hold on to it under pressure.
    • 15' An ambitious effort by Mierzejewski which sails well over for a goal kick.
    • 14' Grosicki is sent in down the right by a long ball but it runs away from him for a goal kick.
    • 13' Latvia havea throw on the right which sees them opt to keep ball deep. Long aimed for Rudnevs, Fabianski should clear but he dithers and is caught in possession but his defender manages to clear.
    • 12' A promising move for Poland breaks down at winger Grosicki, Gorkss clearing.
    • 11' Very much the feeling of a training-ground game as both sides play cagily enough. Some of the Poles are competing for a place at the Euros though, so need to step it up.
    • 9' There is literally no-one at this game - apart from a few die-hard fans and various staff members,
    • 8' Polanski is caught by Laizans, Poland have the free-kick.
    • 7' Poor effort from Visnjakovs, well over.
    • 6' Lukjanovs is caught late by Polanski, Latvia free-kick around 35 yards out.
    • 4' Free-kick to Poland some way out but easily cleared by the Latvians.
    • 3' Early save for Fabianski, comfortable as Rudnevs as a dig from the edge of the box.
    • 2' Pretty much empty stadium for this match. Hardly surprising.
    • 1' The first half is underway!
    • 19:40 Referee: Harald Lechner (Austria)
    • 19:35 As expected, Poland don't have Lewandowski, Szczesny, Piszczek and co in the team, but Sivvaspor winger Kamil Grosicki starts. The aforementioned Kucharczyk and Sobiech are on the bench, with Brozek leading the line. Arsenal back-up keeper Fabianski starts in place of his team-mate. Fabianski is expected to leave the Gunners this summer.
    • 19:30 TEAMS - Poland: Fabianski, Boenisch, Wasilewski, Jodlowiec, Wojtkowiak, Polanski, Murawski, Mierzejewski, Wolski, Grosicki, Brozek; Subs: Tyton, Matuszczyk, Wawrzyniak, Sobiech, Kaminski, Kucharczyk /// Latvia: Dorosevs, Gorkss, Klava, Ivanovs, Fertovs, Laizans, Cauna, Visnjakovs, Rugins, Lukjanovs, Rudnevs; Subs: Malins, Savcenkovs, Krjauklis, Pereplotkins, Lazdins, Gauracs, Kamess, Kozlovs, Sinelnikovs
    • 19:25 Latvia will line up for the friendly at Klagenfurt's Hypo-Arena with striker Artiom Rudnev leading the line. Rudnev was top scorer in the Polish league last season, scoring 22 Ekstraklasa goals for Lech Poznan, but will this summer move to Bundesliga side Hamburg. Queens Park Rangers defender Kaspars Gorkks is set to captain the side.
    • 19:20 Those odds are somewhat short on Poland, I think, as they are set to field an experimental line-up so Smuda can work out who will fill out his 23-man squad for the Euros. The main question is which strikers will support on-fire Dortmund hit-man Robert Lewndowski - Pawel Brozek (Celtic), Michal Kucharczyk (Legia Warsaw) or Artur Sobiech (Hannover)?
    • 19:15 MATCH ODDS: Poland 5/11, Latvia 15/2, Draw 7/2
    • 19:10 Aleksandrs Starkovs (Latvia): "In the match against Poland, our selection will be very important. It is not so much about experience as much as needing to integrate several young players into the team. My task as trainer is to assemble the strongest Latvian team to be competitive in World Cup qualifiers and the Baltic Cup."
    • 19:05 Franciszek Smuda (Poland): "Our goal is to win promotion from the group, I am convinced we can do it. In the last few months we analysed all the teams. Russia has really excellent players, also Greece is a good team. Russia are favourites to win the group, but we are playing at home and we have to do everything to win promotion."
