    • 90+11 FULL TIME. An action-packed game draws to a close at Stamford Bridge. Mata scores on his debut but Chelsea will have concerns over that injury suffered by Drogba.
    • 90+10 GOAL! 3-1 Chelsea! Mata scores on his debut! De Laet plays a poor square pass into his own box and Mata takes advantage when tucking the ball past Rudd.
    • 90+8' Lukaku forces Rudd into evasive action when challenging for the ball in the air. He looks a real handful.
    • 90+7' Mata curls an effort high into the stands for Chelsea.
    • 90+5' Rudd saves from a low shot from Lukaku and then just about scrambles the ball away as Lampard attempts to convert the follow-up.
    • 90+4' Ivanovic hooks the ball back to Hilario with Morison lurking and the keeper kicks it clear.
    • 90+3' It feels strange to think we are still some minutes away from ending this match, but we are. Chelsea just need to close things out.
    • 90+1' We will have 11 added minutes here. That's 11. Due to Drogba's injury of course.
    • 90' What a miss! Lampard dinks in a cross and Ivanovic thumps a header from six yards. He has to score but somehow puts it wide. Incredible.
    • 89' Anelka whips in a dangerous cross from the right and there is Lukaku again, but he cannot connect with the ball.
    • 88' Lukaku sneaks in front of Barnett to meet a cross from the right but he heads wide of the post.
    • 87' Chelsea look to be in control now and against ten men should close the game out. The home crowd are enjoying the chance to see Mata and Lukaku in action as well.
    • 85' A deep cross finds Morison at the back post for Norwich but he hooks the ball back across goal and out of play.
    • 83' Now Lukaku is on for his debut in place of Torres.
    • 82' GOAL! 2-1 Chelsea! Lampard smacks it down the middle. The substitute got fairly close to it but he dived a touch too far and Lampard hit it too hard.
    • 82' Declan Rudd on for Martin to face the penalty.
    • 80' Penalty to Chelsea! Ruddy dismissed for bringing down Ramires as he charged into the box!
    • 79' Ivanovic has to produce a diving header to clear from a cross from Morison as Chelsea soak up more pressure.
    • 78' Bosingwa fires a cross into the box but Ruddy is equal to it.
    • 76' Torres gets on the end of a cross and tests Ruddy with a header, but the Spain striker put it too close to the Norwich keeper.
    • 74' What a chance for Norwich! Morison races clear on the left to collect a ball over the top and looks to have Hilario at his mercy. However, he takes too long to pull the trigger and Terry recovers with a superb challenge.
    • 72' Right, back under way at Stamford Bridge...
    • 71' Drogba is in a neck brace and appears to be receiving oxygen. Fingers crossed that the striker isn't too badly hurt.
    • 70' Now Drogba is removed on a stretcher after a lengthy delay to play.
    • 68' Drogba is still on the pitch as medics attend to him and place him on a stretcher. His fall really was nasty. There are some long faces around Stamford Bridge.
    • 67' Here is the double change. Drogba and Malouda replaced by Anelka and the new boy, Mata.
    • 66' Chelsea are getting Nicolas Anelka and Juan Mata ready.
    • 65' Drogba requires lengthy treatment and will need to be taken off here. He was unconscious for a while.
    • 64' Chelsea tear up the other end in search of a quick response and as Drogba leaps to challenge for the ball, Ruddy accidentally punches him in the face. Drogba is out cold as he falls to ground and lands horribly. That was very nasty.
    • 63' GOAL! 1-1! Oh dear Hilario. The goalkeeper rushes off his line to come for a cross from Naughton and collides with Ivanovic, allowing the ball to pop into the path of Holt, who shows admirable composure to hook the ball home on the volley from the edge of the box.
    • 62' So after starting in a 5-3-2 formation, Norwich now have three forwards on the pitch. You certainly can't accuse Paul Lambert of being inflexible.
    • 60' Steve Morison replaces Hoolahan. Norwich will lose a bit of craft, but gain some real presence.
    • 59' Drogba delivers the free-kick but Ivanovic cannot test Ruddy with a header as the ball is deflected out for a corner. The ball comes in but Terry is penalised for a foul.
    • 58' Naughton slips on the right and allows Drogba to race away. However, his cross for Torres is poor and the Spaniard cannot convert. Oh, play is called back for a foul by Naughton though and he is booked.
    • 57' Chelsea appear to have successfully quietened Norwich down after they threatened to breach the home defence on multiple occasions in the first half.
    • 56' Torres goes into the book when raising his boot into the midriff of Barnett when looking to pull down a high ball. It's the right decision.
    • 55' Now it is Norwich's turn to win a corner but Johnson's delivery fails to beat the first man. He has been a bit off form today, it is fair to say.
    • 54' There's Juan Mata warming up. I wonder how long it will be before we get a glimpse of the £27m man.
    • 53' From the set-piece, Ivanovic gets in front of his marker to turn the ball wide with his head.
    • 52' Lampard with a frankly ridiculous attempt from 30 yards. It is deflected behind for a corner though.
    • 51' Now Drogba tries to get on the end of another ball into the Norwich box, but fails. Chelsea have started the second half with real purpose.
    • 50' Terry meets the corner at the near post and his goal-bound header is headed behind by Pilkington.
    • 49' Torres slips a pass into Drogba and the Ivorian looks to return the favour, only for his cross to be headed behind for another corner. The two strikers have linked up with more success than usual.
    • 48' An early corner for Chelsea as De Laet clears from a cross from Malouda but Leon Barnett heads clear for Norwich.
    • 47' Courtesy of Infostrada: Norwich have failed to win in their past 10 trips to London in the Premier League. That doesn't look like changing today.

    • 45+2' HALF-TIME. Jose Bosingwa's rocket of a shot separates the sides at Stamford Bridge.
    • 45+2' Mikel fires one wide from long range and that should be the last action of the half.
    • 45+2' Drogba releases Cole down the left and his cross is deflected behind for a late corner to Chelsea. Lampard and Terry fail to connect with the set piece.
    • 45+1' We will have two minutes of added time.
    • 45' Drogba pings a searching long ball into the box in an attempt to find Torres, but the Spaniard just fails to get on the end of it.
    • 44' A superb effort! Bosingwa's cross to the edge of the box bounces inadvertently into the path of Malouda, who unleashes a firm volley that has Ruddy sprawling at his near post.
    • 43' Norwich win a free-kick of their own and Johnson calls Hilario into action with a decent effort from 30 yards.
    • 42' Drogba takes the free-kick and his effort curls dangerously towards the top corner, only to fly just over the bar. Ruddy was worried for a second.
    • 41' A messy challenge from behind from Crofts on Drogba and it is no surprise to see him go into the book.
    • 39' Torres attempts to take De Laet one way and then the other on the edge of the box, but the defender will not be outsmarted and sticks with Torres before sticking his leg in to nick the ball away.
    • 38' Marc Tierney delivers a dangerous cross from the left and Holt strains every muscle to try and get his head to the ball. He fails.
    • 37' Hoolahan knocks the ball square for Johnson, who blasts his effort well off target from 30 yards. Poor from a man who can do better from range, as Leeds fans would testify.
    • 36' Drogba attempts to release Torres with a toe-poked pass but although the Spaniard is offside, the ref awards a free-kick to Chelsea for De Laet's challenge on Drogba. Lampard whacks it over the wall and the bar. Poor.
    • 34' Hoolahan from range but his effort is not troubling Hilario in the Chelsea goal.
    • 33' Now De Laet is forced to head clear from a cross from Bosingwa. What with him and Naughton impressing, it has been a good afternoon for the right-backs on display.
    • 33' Malouda slips in Lampard with a clever pass but the England international is guilty of a heavy touch as he loses possession on the edge of the box.
    • 32' Norwich really have improved remarkably in the past five or ten minutes and they have caused Chelsea all kinds of problems. Both Holt and Martin have spurned excellent openings for the visitors.
    • 30' Tactical change from Lambert as he takes off Whitbread and brings on Anthony Pilkington.
    • 29' Now Naughton supplies Holt was a cross from the right and the striker rises high to call Hilario into a low save with a firm header. Chelsea look vulnerable at the moment.
    • 28' Great stuff from Norwich! Hoolahan sets Chris Martin free with a glorious pass but he takes a touch instead of finishing first time, allowing Hilario to block his effort. The keeper is then drawn to the edge of the box when Martin reclaims possession and plays it back to Naughton, who forces Hilario into a save.
    • 27' Kyle Naughton takes aim from range and sees his effort deflected behind for a corner. Drogba produces an excellent clearing header from the set-piece.
    • 25' Referee Mike Jones has to suspend play to go and pop a couple of balloons that have drifted onto the pitch. I kid you not.
    • 24' Oh dear. Drogba finds the upper tier with his free-kick. That was truly awful.
    • 23' Malouda surges away from Naughton and is brought down by the young defender. Free-kick to Chelsea some 30 yards from goal...
    • 21' Excellent from Torres, as he controls the ball, jinks back inside De Laet and attempts to play in Drogba. However, his pass has just too much on it for the Ivorian, who fails to get his toe to the ball and test Ruddy.
    • 20' Mikel attempts to open up the Norwich defence with a quick through-ball, but it runs right through to Norwich goalkeeper Ruddy.
    • 18' Chris Martin receives a pass from Wes Hoolahan but his subsequent cross is cut out by the diving Hilario.
    • 17' Holt breaks free in behind the Chelsea defence and attempts to spin and flick in a ball into the box from Hoolahan. Unconventional, but it nearly worked. The Chelsea defence were completely asleep.
    • 16' Chelsea have enjoyed 70 per cent of the possession so far at Stamford Bridge. It should of course be remembered that Norwich have enjoyed back-to-back promotions so there is bound to be a fairly sizeable gulf in class between the two sides.
    • 15' Norwich win a free-kick 40 yards from goal but Bradley Johnson's delivery is horrible as he puts the ball far too long. That was a real waste for the Canaries.
    • 13' Now Drogba attempts to run onto a ball over the top but cannot prevent it from running out of play.
    • 12' Chelsea begin to string a decent move together but when John Obi Mikel fires a searching pass out to Ashley Cole on the left it just has too much on it for the left-back.
    • 11' Norwich approached the game with five in defence in an effort to keep things tight and if they are to get something from this game they will have to abandon that at some point.
    • 9' That really was a quite wonderful goal from Bosingwa, and only his third in the Premier League as well. It might be a case of how many for Chelsea today, and they have shown over the past two seasons they are capable of hammering weaker sides.
    • 7' Didier Drogba gets a cross in and Lampard arrives, only to see himself crowded out by Norwich shirts. The visitors clear for a corner and John Ruddy collects after the set-piece is worked short.
    • 6' GOAL! 1-0 Chelsea! Bosingwa with a rare goal. The right-back collects the ball from Lampard some 30 yards from goal and unleashes a ferocious effort into the top corner. Stunning.
    • 5' Torres gets a snap-shot away in the box when meeting a cross from Jose Bosingwa but Zak Whitbread is on hand to block from close range.
    • 4' Hilario comes to the edge of his box to collect a long ball forward and John Terry ushers it towards him. Grant Holt then pushes the defender into his goalkeeper and the ball squirms loose, but a foul is rightly awarded.
    • 3' Now Ritchie De Laet clears well from a cross and it already looks as though Norwich might be in for a tough afternoon.
    • 2' An early free-kick for Chelsea as Andrew Crofts clatters into Frank Lampard from behind. The ball is worked wide to Ashley Cole, Chelsea win a throw and then work the ball inside to Ramires, who forces Ruddy into a fine save from 25 yards.
    • 1' KICK OFF!
    • 14.57 The teams are shaking hands at Stamford Bridge and we are just minutes away from kick-off. Hopefully we will get a good glimpse of Mata and Lukaku at some point.

    • 14.50 Just in case you missed it, the Carling Cup draw was made earlier today and Chelsea were drawn against local rivals Fulham. Norwich of course were hammered by MK Dons in midweek. Carling Cup draw
    • 14.45 It will be interesting to see how Drogba and Torres fare as a partnership today. Carlo Ancelotti experimented with them in tandem last season to generally little effect and Drogba certainly looks better as the focal point of an attack. Chelsea fans won't need reminding but Torres only has one goal in 16 Premier League appearances.
    • 14.40 Surprisingly perhaps, Norwich have won four of eight games against Chelsea in the Premier League. Chelsea have won three and there has been one draw. However, the majority of those came prior to the Roman Abramovich revolution which changed the face of the English game.
    • 14.35 Chelsea required a late goal from Florent Malouda to defeat West Brom in Andre Villas-Boas's first home game as manager last weekend and the Frenchman starts today, despite rumours of a possible move to Juventus. Norwich conceded a late, late goal to draw 1-1 at home to Stoke City last time out.
    • 14.30 Norwich look to be lining up in a 5-3-2 formation, with Zak Whitbread coming into the heart of the defence. Bradley Johnson, Wes Hoolahan and Andrew Crofts form the centre of midfield so Kyle Naughton and Marc Tierney will be relied upon to provide width from the full-back positions.
    • 14.25 A very interesting team selection from Andre Villas-Boas who appears to have abandoned his favoured 4-3-3 formation to play Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres in a two-pronged attack, with Lampard at the top of a midfield diamond. So Salomon Kalou and Nicolas Anelka are dropped. New signings Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku are on the bench and could make their debuts today.
