    • 90+4' The full-time whistle goes at Goodison Park, and Chelsea have ended Everton's unbeaten home record with a 2-1 victory courtesy of a Lampard brace! Pienaar's goal in the second minute proves irrelevant, and it's a fine win for Benitez's side away from home. Thanks for joining us.

    • 90+1' Moses and Oscar combine to challenge Osman, who wins a free kick in the Chelsea half from which Everton can build.

    • 89' Distin makes a quite brilliant last-gasp challenge to prevent Torres from getting a shot away with just the defender and Howard to beat from inside the Everton box!
    • 88' Everton are throwing bodies forward with just Heitinga and Howard back in their own half at the moment.

    • 83' Torres is ruled offside once more as he drifts in behind Heitinga, but the Everton defenders hold the line.

    • 81' Everton's final change sees Pienaar replaced by Bryan Oviedo.
    • 80' Howard punts a long ball upfield towards Jelavic, and it's going to be a series of direct passes in the final 10 minutes from the hosts.
    • 79' Ross Barkley comes on for Everton now as Moyes makes his second change.
    • 77' It's frantic stuff from Everton now as the hosts pile on the pressure, and Chelsea are having to defend desperately.

    • 75' Chelsea now have a slender lead to protect for the remaining 15 minutes plus added time.
    • 74' Benitez quickly moves to withdraw Hazard, and Victor Moses is the man to come on.
    • 73' Moyes is absolutely furious with his defenders for not clearing the ball away from inside the box.
    • 72' GOAL! Lampard scores his second as he drives an emphatic finish into the Everton net from close range after Mata sees his initial effort saved by Howard, and Chelsea are now in front! Everton failed to clear inside their box, and they are ruthlessly punished.
    • 70' Luiz goes into the book with a crude challenge on Pienaar in the Chelsea half.
    • 68' Jelavic is denied by the crossbar as he stoops to head beyond Cech from Baines's cross out on the left, and Everton come agonisingly close once more!
    • 66' Torres stings the palms of Howard in the Everton goal with a fierce strike from the edge of the box, and it's a fine stop from the American keeper!
    • 65' Cole marauds down the left once more for Chelsea, but he is unable to get a cross into the box as Jagielka comes across to hold him up very effectively.
    • 64' Lampard drops very deep and links up the play for the visitors, who are looking to break upfield at every opportunity.
    • 63' Pienaar clatters into Luiz on halfway, and it's becoming very scrappy again now in midfield.
    • 62' STAT: Everton have now hit the woodwork (16 times) more than any other team in the Premier League this season.
    • 61' Torres and Distin scrap away for the ball in the Everton half, but the defender comes out on top and is able to clear upfield.
    • 60' Luiz does well to head away Baines's free kick from the left, but Jelavic proceeds to win a corner for the hosts.
    • 59' Pienaar and Baines continue to combine very effectively down the left for Everton, and the latter wins a free kick near the byline as Everton press relentlessly.
    • 57' Jelavic is absolutely furious with the linesman as he strays offside looking to latch on to a through ball from Osman, but replays show that the official was correct.
    • 56' Turnbull does very well to fly off his line and punch clear from a crowded penalty area in commanding fashion.
    • 55' STAT: A draw for Everton could equal the PL record of draws in a calendar year – set by Chelsea (18) in 1995. Stoke City (18) in 2012 (Infostrada).
    • 54' A backheel from Hazard finds Torres at the back post after very fine build-up play, but the forward is offside as he scuffs a poor shot straight at Howard!
    • 53' Cahill is booked for a cynical block on Baines, and Everton have started the second half as brightly as they did the first, but without a goal to show for their efforts.
    • 52' Osman does very well to dispossess Mata, before losing it to Torres, but the striker cannot capitalise on the opening as a heavy touch lets him down.
    • 51' Moyes is still furious with his defenders for not stepping up at the last set piece, and he's out on the touchline looking very menacing. /// @NexhatSalihu reckons Chelsea will come through to win 3-1, while @SyamantakTorres thinks Torres will score next.
    • 50' This is Turnbull's first Premier League appearance of the season, incidentally. He last played in the league in the final game of last season against Blackburn.
    • 49' The home fans are really getting on Turnbull's back now as he slices a clearance straight out of play.
    • 48' STAT: Everton have lost just one of their last eight Premier League games against Chelsea (W3 D4 L1).
    • 47' Anichebe produces a driving run into the Chelsea half before going down in the box, but the referee is not impressed.
    • 46' Cech’s 400th appearance for Chelsea ends prematurely as Ross Turnbull is brought on as an enforced change at half-time, and we're about to get back under way.
    • - Phew, well what did you make of that chaotic first half? What do you think the full-time scoreline will be? It's a tough one to call with Chelsea clawing their way back into the contest after a sluggish start. You can get in touch with your thoughts via Twitter... @Dan_Eurosport
    • 45+1' The half-time whistle goes at Goodison Park, and it's 1-1 between Everton and Chelsea after Lampard levelled for Benitez's side with a fine header to cancel out Pienaar's clinical finish in just the second minute. It's all to play for in the second half.
    • 45' Anichebe wins another corner for Everton with a low shot from 25 yards out, but the visitors clear through Cahill. Just a minute will be added to the 45.
    • 44' It's a frenetic end to the first half, with Chelsea energised by their equaliser from Lampard.
    • 43' Pienaar whips over a devilish cross to the back post from the left, but this time Cech does well to race out and punch away in commanding fashion.
    • 42' GOAL! Lampard levels for Chelsea with a powerful header from just outside the Everton six-yard box, and it's a clinical finish from the midfielder from Ramires's dinked cross out on the right flank. The visitors are back level!
    • 41' Lampard drives the long-range set piece into the Everton wall, but it deflects away to Torres, who sees his shot turned behind for a corner.
    • 40' Luiz wins a free kick 30 yards out which Lampard and Hazard stand over, and Chelsea are ending the first half positively.
    • 39' A deep cross from Anichebe almost picks out Naismith at the back post, but it's fractionally too heavy for the midfielder.
    • 38' Pienaar rouses the crowd with a lung-busting run back to intercept a pass to Torres from Ramires, and that's terrific work from the midfielder.
    • 37' The offside flag stops Torres in his tracks as he races in behind the Everton back four, and he mistimes his run completely.
    • 36' That was a crucial save from Cech with replays showing that the ball would have fizzed inside the far post, and Everton come close again.
    • 35' Chelsea are very nearly caught on the break as Jelavic latches on to a long ball from Baines and drives a low shot towards the far corner of the net, only for Cech to tip the ball agonisingly wide!
    • 34' STAT: Chelsea have had a staggering 44 shots in their last two Premier League games prior to this match.
    • 33' There are ironic cheers once more for Luiz as he storms down the right, but a heavy touch sees the ball run straight out of play.
    • 32' Mata is beginning to see more of the ball, and he plays a neat one-two with Torres before Hazard drives a fine ball across the six-yard box which no one can turn in!
    • 31' Chelsea clear the danger once more through Lampard, but Torres cannot pick out Hazard with a through ball in behind Jagielka.
    • 30' Anichebe does extremely well to hold off Ivanovic and win a corner at the defender's expense as Everton pile on the pressure.
    • 29' STAT: Juan Mata has scored or assisted 14 goals in 16 Premier League appearances this season.
    • 28' Howard did very well there to not be caught out as Mata intended for his shot to be directed towards the near post, but ended up flicking it to Howard's right.
    • 27' Ramires bundles his way into the Everton box with a determined run, before the ball breaks loose for Mata, who sees his stabbed shot saved by the legs of Tim Howard!
    • 26' What a save from Cech! Osman unleashes a rasping strike from the edge of the Chelsea box, and Cech has to be very alert to pull off a reflex save down low to his right!
    • 25' Everton win another corner, and Chelsea are not able to build at all with poor retention of the ball.
    • 24' Pienaar gives the ball away to Luiz, who in turn presents it straight to Naismith, and the match is suddenly very scrappy in midfield.
    • 23' Anichebe wins yet another header in the Chelsea box, but this time he miscues his effort well over the crossbar.
    • 22' Chelsea keep the ball at the back, before Hazard gives the ball away twice in quick succession, much to Benitez's frustration.
    • 21' There are howls of derision as Ramires jinks inside and blasts a wild shot into the stands, and the home fans are really enjoying this.
    • 20' Torres looks to latch on to a through ball from Lampard, but he ends up barging over Heitinga.
    • 19' Cahill and Ramires exchange passes after Jelavic gives away another free kick, and Chelsea are beginning to look more comfortable on the ball.
    • 18' STAT: Only Manchester City (259) and Liverpool (257) clubs have had more shots (excl. blocked) than Everton in (247) the Premier League this season.
    • 17' Anichebe and Jelavic are winning everything in the air against Ivanovic and Cahill at the moment, and Everton look dangerous whenever they press forward.
    • 16' Lampard is pretty unfortunate as he plays a pinpoint pass out to Ramires on the right, only for the ball to take a horrible bounce out of play.
    • 15' Everton have enjoyed 58 per cent of the possession so far in this first half, and Luiz wins a free kick deep inside the Chelsea half.
    • 14' Osman does very well to jink inside two challenges and turn away from deep inside the Everton half, and Chelsea are finally settling down.
    • 13' STAT: Only in 2004-05 have Everton had more points after 19 games than they do this season.
    • 12' Jelavic is penalised for clashing with Ivanovic in the box, and Chelsea have some much needed respite at last.
    • 11' The home fans are revelling in this frantic opening, with their side all over the visitors. Everton win another corner which Pienaar will take.
    • 10' Cech scuffs a horrible goal kick, and fortunately for the keeper Luiz is on hand to clear under real pressure - Chelsea need to get going and quickly!
    • 9' Chelsea are really under the cosh early on, and Everton could be three up already in this first half!
    • 8' It's Nikica Jelavic who eventually steps up to take the set piece, and he is denied by the near post after he clears the wall with an exquisite strike, and Petr Cech was left flat-footed!
    • 7' Everton win a very dangerous free kick just outside the Chelsea penalty area, and Baines stands over the ball - an ominous sight for the visitors.
    • 6' Chelsea starting to enjoy their first real possession of the game after a very sluggish start, and they are already behind.
    • 5' STAT: Everton have now scored in each of their last 17 Premier League games; the longest-such run seen in the competition this season.
    • 4' Anichebe drops very deep and links up the play very effectively, and it's all Everton early on.
    • 3' What an incredible start for the hosts, and it was a very well taken goal from Pienaar after Anichebe was denied by the post following Jagielka's deep cross from out on the right.
    • 2' What a start for Everton as Steven Pienaar pounces to drive home the rebound after Anichebe heads against the near post! Goodison Park is rocking, and Chelsea fall behind in the second minute of the match!
    • 1' The first half is under way at Goodison Park, and Chelsea are in their change strip of all white.
    • 13:27 The players are in the tunnel and about to make their way onto the pitch, and we're all set for kick-off at Goodison. /// @TheSniper147 believes Chelsea will win this one 3-1. What do others think? Are you happy with David Luiz playing in midfield long-term? You can find us all on Twitter @EurosportCom_EN
    • 13:25 Interestingly, Benitez has won five and drawn one of his last six Premier League meetings with Everton, but the Toffees have lost just one of their last eight Premier League games against Chelsea.

    • 13:15 David Moyes has had this to say ahead of today's match:  "I've said to the players now we've won two from two and if you're taking six points from 12 over the Christmas period, some folk might deem that to be good. Now we've got to try and take some more if we can. We'll try and keep it going.
    • 13:10 Benitez had this to say about his side in midweek: ''We will see after two or three more games (about a title challenge). "You could see the team had confidence in themselves, they believed, and that was there to the end. They had good movements, created chances. Now we have to sustain this run and it will be easier for me to say we can compete. The players were really focused from day one. They knew they had a new manager and they had to perform."
    • 13:05 Chelsea will go back to third if they can avoid defeat while Everton will leapfrog their visitors into fourth place with three points here. Premier League table

  1. 201 McYinks. How true! I wonder if Mr A's ruthless 'let them go' policy is some form of ego trip? It's obvious that it's HE who makes these decisions, maybe on advice from his best mate Eugene Tennebaum, the Russian lady, is it Marisa Tariskovska, (or some such), & the 'coach' Emolonio, (or some such!). I say ego trip, 'cos Mr A IS the No1 man, & when players like, yes the Drog, Lamps & Ashley C are seen to be getting TOO popular, MAYBE, just MAYBE Mr A gets resentful, as attention is not then focussed on him. Another reason why Torres KEEPS playing, despite firing blanks---he was after all Mr A's 'alter ego', Mr A's personal buy---many say he bought Torres to 'trump' Sheikh Mansour's purchase of Aguero (the Sth American cost 'only' 34 million, the Spaniard some 16 million more!). This attitude is like a leader of a 3rd world country, where a 'Dictator' President sees a local governor of some province or other getting TOO popular, so what does the President do? Yes, get rid of him! Cue the departure of the 'Special One'; he was too successful, too popular, too charismatic--- at The Bridge, there's enough room for only ONE ego! Having said all this, I as a Chelsea fan will be forever grateful for EVERYTHING Mr A has done for the club---without him we'd be a mid table team. In fact, since his taking over, Chelsea have won MORE trophies than ANY other team in England (not counting Community Shields etc), & for that he, warts & all, will forever be revered. But please Mr A, KEEP Lamps, Ashley & JT---they all LOVE Chelsea, & are good enought still wear the shirt, though naturally over time, their roles will be cameo ones---just look at Scholes & Giggs, they are SUCH wonderful ambassadors for Man U!

  2. do not say good luck in america because he is not leaving. me and lampard meet every weekend and he said he is not leaving and he might just sign a short term deal.

  3. Rather than investing your money on buying new players, it is better to keep LAMPARD (the legend)and his fellow like COLE. Why great clubs want to buy these legends? This is b/ce they are great players. Did you see the difference since DROGBA left the club? You lost all trophies this year such as Community Shield, Super Cup & Club World Cup. For sure if DROGBA (the legend) exist in the club at least you got one trophy. Please can you make RAMIRES a striker rather than Torres? Ramires is the best player I like very much. Last year in the Champions league he assisted one goal for DROGBA and scored one difference making goal on BARCA. Unless you will get right striker don't think to win any Trophy. The main problem of Chelsea is the absence of striker.

  5. Frank Lampard is a Legend! A footballer extraordinaire, a motivator! Chelsea FC should not break the hearts of those of us who're Chelsea fans to the extreme (the fanatics) and other lovers of quality football. Frank's contract should immediately be extended without any hesitation. The wealth of experience he's acquired over time is invaluable and I can say it unequivocally that he's almost indispensable! We all love him with a passion! He should be retained please! Same thing goes to John Terry and Ashley Cole. They too are wonderful players! I'm yet to come to terms that Dieder Drogba could leave Stamford Bridge just like that. Abramovich, please let's appreciate, value and spur our legends to further bring out the best in them.
