    • 90+5' FULL TIME. QPR have earned a good point against Manchester City as the champions again fail to fully pursue leaders United. A far more entertaining game than the 0-0 scoreline suggests.
    • 90+4' Ball ricochets out for a QPR goal kick as time runs out. Dzeko races over to get the ball and give it back to Cesar before a ball boy can get close to it.
    • 90+3' Zamora collects a cleared cross and immediately looks for, and gets, the free-kick off Rodwell. Shrewd and experienced play from the striker.
    • 90+2' Double sub from Redknapp and suddenly they've used all three of theirs, too. It's Alejandro Faurlin on for Mbia and Bobby Zamora replacing Remy.
    • 90+1' FOUR minutes added on as City break from the corner but lose possession for a QPR throw at the halfway line.
    • 90' QPR play their way out of more serious pressure and Mbia comes forward enough for Taarabt to catch him up. The Moroccan beats two players effortlessly before his shot is deflected past the far post for a corner.
    • 89' Finally a QPR switch, and it's at the stage where it's purely to stall. Ji-Sung Park replaces Esteban Granero.
    • 87' Sinclair immediately bursts into the box. Is he brought down by Onuoha? Dowd says no. Replays make the referee spot on - that was a superb slide challenge from the former City man in such a dangerous area.
    • 86' Scott Sinclair is still alive. How do I know this? He's on for Milner. QPR have yet to make a single sub.
    • 85' Shouts of handball as Dzeko dances past his man on the left-hand side of the area and cuts back for a Silva shot which catches the arm of Mbia who in fairness could not have done anything to get out of the way there. His arms were tight by his sides, too.
    • 84' Hart rushes out of his area to beat Remy to a long ball forward.
    • 83' But it's City who break the scrappiness first. Dzeko's out wide again. Low cross from the left picks out Silva six yards out! What a block by Cesar! Loose ball just falls behind Aguero who was primed to tap home the rebound!
    • 82' Getting scrappy in the middle as neither team seems to want to hold onto it.
    • 80' First signs of frustration from City as a casually-taken goal kick by Cesar prompts multiple appeals to the ref for timekeeping.
    • 79' Granero to take... but he sends it into Row Z. He's had a terrible game so far.
    • 78' The set piece is delayed by the five-man wall needing a lesson from Mr. Dowd in how long 10 yards is.
    • 77' Barry tries to craftily pull Mbia down as he tumbles himself, to prevent the Rs player snapping up possession in a mirror scenario from 42'. The referee isn't fooled and gives a free-kick 25 yards from the City goal. Barry is taking chances on a booking.
    • 75' QPR appeal for a penalty as Remy goes down in the box after beating Lescott. But replays make contact look non-existent and if there was, it was outside the area anyway.
    • 74' Second change for City sees Jack Rodwell on for Tevez. Little changed about the visitors' shape when Dzeko entered the fray but it appears it definitely will with that change.
    • 73' Almost a champagne goal from City! Milner's lofted ball to the right wing meets Zabaleta's run into the box perfectly. The right-back opts for a selfless header backwards to Aguero rather than going for goal, but his compatriot fluffs the volley and it's well off-target.
    • 72' This one is aimlessly out for a goal kick.
    • 71' Dzeko drifts wide to collect a loose ball after Aguero has a pass blocked. He unleashes a lovely ball to the far post which is put behind for corner #10.
    • 70' Fabio appears to have shaken off the bump he took earlier.
    • 69' Silva sends a decent low diagonal in from the left after the set piece is half-cleared. It's close to Dzeko inside the six yard box but Cesar is out to claim.
    • 68' Bit of mis-communication at the back for QPR leads to City's ninth corner to the hosts' one.
    • 67' Another QPR attack with advantage for a foul on Fabio, but Lescott does exceptionally well to keep Remy off the ball after a loose attempt to chest down for a strike until Hart collects.
    • 66' Decent central pass by Milner towards Dzeko in the area, but the sub cannot control it with his first touch and it rolls safely out.
    • 65' Aguero looks to go solo from the middle of the park but runs into a cul de sac and loses the ball.
    • 64' That QPR attack saw advantage played for a foul by Barry. Phil Dowd comes back and books the midfielder once play halts.
    • 63' Better flow of the general play coming from the home side in this second half so far but they'll have to be wary of City adjusting to the Dzeko switch and its tactical implications any moment now.
    • 62' Not bad from Remy - City lose possession just inside their own half and the striker is fed the ball on the left, where he cuts inside Zabaleta and fires inches over.
    • 60' Aguero collects the ball from deep and fires wide from over 25 out. Perhaps he will merely replace Nasri in the three-man attacking support for target man Dzeko.
    • 59' And here comes Edin Dzeko. The man who has netted a lot of points from the bench for City replaces Nasri, which would appear to symbolise a switch to two up front.
    • 58' Granero puts in a good challenge on Silva but it was during advantage being played because he had a hand full of the winger's shirt moments earlier. He's also booked for persistent fouling having used up the official's patience with him.
    • 57' The offside flag is up against Tevez before Milner lashes an effort wide from 20 yards.
    • 56' ...he delivers it in search of a head but that head belongs to Nelsen, who clears.
    • 55' Decent range for this City free-kick. It's 30 yards out and just left of centre. Nasri to take...
    • 54' Manchester City have failed to win in three of their last four PL away matches that were goalless at half time, losing the last one – 1-0 at Sunderland on Boxing Day.
    • 52' Zabaleta overlaps forward to see a low cross cut out and cleared.
    • 51' Silva, Nasri and Tevez work some neat passes together on the left until it's moved centrally for Barry to overcook his final ball attempt. Goal kick.
    • 50' Bit of role reversal as QPR push forward only to have City break on them. It peters out for a home goal kick, though.
    • 48' Edin Dzeko is the only substitute who can be seen doing early warm-ups on the touchline. Don't expect him to have to wait much longer.
    • 47' The home side have started brightly here. Looks like Redknapp has reassured them at the interval that they can indeed play some possession football.
    • 46' QPR get us back underway with the second half.
    • 45+1' Half-time and for now, Rangers have kept Man City out of their goal. It's 0-0 at the halfway stage after 45 minutes almost entirely dominated by the champions.
    • 45' One minute is added onto the first half.
    • 44' Now Tevez moves central to tee up Nasri on the edge of the area. The shot goes wide of the near post.
    • 43' Yet another City corner is cleared by QPR.
    • 42' Barry picks Mbia's pocket and sends Tevez free on the left. He returns the ball to Barry inside the 'D' and his first time shot is pushed around the post by Cesar!
    • 41' Action resumes after a brief treatment break.
    • 40' Clichy moments later gets clattered by Mbia, and that's our first booking of the match.
    • 39' ...Taarabt has space ahead of him though Clichy is coming across to close down his sight on goal. He makes it just inside the area and keeps the full-back at bay to force a save from the onrushing Hart!
    • 38' This one's easy for the home side to get away and another chance to counter could be on...
    • 37' City win another corner. Feels like an eternity since they were racking them up like they counteed towards goal difference...
    • 35' Aguero is of course a world class footballer as far as his skill set goes. But his workrate is what is making him stand out by a mile in this one thus far.
    • 34' The Argentine does a good job moments later rescuing a City attack before it seeps over the byline for a goal kick, teeing up Silva behind him for a shot which is closed down well.
    • 33' It was Milner's ball which ricocheted into Aguero's path but he was definitely offside.
    • 32' Aguero has the ball in the net, but was offside. The QPR players pretty much stopped everything to protest that one so it's a good thing the linesman agreed.
    • 31' Newcastle lead 2-0 at struggling Villa, causing home fans to leave with just half an hour played. Follow ALL four games here: Live Premier League Scores | Results Yahoo! Eurosport UK
    • 30' Mbia feels he has won the ball from a hesitant Tevez but a foul is awarded to his chagrin.
    • 28' ...but it doesn't take long for City to win the ball back.
    • 27' The champions don't have much creative spark with a set piece just inside the QPR half and the home side look to break away...
    • 26' City clear their lines and Clichy begins a Terminator-like run down the right to try and counter, but he has little support and is outnumbered into conceding possession.
    • 25' The hosts get their first corner as a meaningful attack leads to Clichy deflecting Remy's ball across goal behind.
    • 24' A good spell of possession for QPR now, their first prolonged advance of the match.
    • 22' Garcia has a pop from 30 yards out, and is only marginally wide.
    • 21' Will City's pressure pay off or do you sense a goal against the run of play? Let me know what you think the result will be via Twitter by following @liamhappe and we'll publish your comments here on the matchcast.
    • 20' QPR finally end the corner pressure but the defending continues from open play. Silva crosses for Zabaleta... who headers an effort onto the bar!
    • 19' Again Cesar fails to convince with his fists. Fourth straight corner coming up as the ball deflects behind off the keeper. 5-0 in corners with 20 gone.
    • 18' Remy is back guarding the near post and hoofs a poor follow-up delivery behind for the third straight corner, City's fourth without reply.
    • 17' Lescott's hopes of making amends for his miss from a flag kick early are wiped out as the ball is put out for another on the other side.
    • 16' A lovely succession of short passes ends when Aguero turns his marker on the left hand side of the box but is forced to the byline where his cut-back attempt is put behind for another corner.
    • 15' The delivery's sent to the danger zone but cleared. Nonetheless, the visitors remain large and in charge possession-wise.
    • 14' Tevez tries to start a give-and-go on the left but is blocked off on his run attempt by Hill. Free-kick for City deep on the wing.
    • 12' Great tenacity by Milner to wriggle his way through defenders and keep his surge forward alive in the penalty area, but his cross-cum-shot takes a deflection and lands safely in Cesar's hands.
    • 11' Makeshift centre-back Garcia has had a couple of hesitant moments already, but he does well to halt the momentum of a QPR move by intercepting a low cross and beginning City's passage of play out of danger.
    • 10' If you want to keep up to date with the major events in all four of tonight's live PL games, you can do so here: Live Premier League Scores | Results Yahoo! Eurosport UK
    • 9' Cesar weakly tries to punch the delivery clear and it falls right to Lescott eight yards out, whose instinctive volley reaction goes over. Had that been a striker...
    • 8' Aguero picks the ball up on the left wing, cuts inside the area and has his effort deflected behind for the first corner.
    • 7' Nasri approaches the right-hand byline and delivers a decent cross to the far post, where Onuoha has moved inside to clear.
    • 6' Aguero tries a ball over the top for the approaching run of Tevez but it's cleared away.
    • 5' A chant from the home support in support of Ryan Nelsen, who leaves after this game to become the head coach of MLS franchise Toronto FC.
    • 4' City as expected are getting some authorative early possession going on, while QPR are looking more dynamic and direct whenever they get onto the ball.
    • 2' Taarabt embarks on a lively early run but gets frustrated by team-mate Remy's attempt to help him as he moves into a tight spot. Together, the two lose the ball.
    • 1' The visitors, in their burgundy change strips, kick off the first half and here we go!
    • 19:45 The teams are out in fairly soggy conditions at Loftus Road. Kick-off is imminent. Can Harry Redknapp's Rangers rescue mission continue with a big result against the champions?

    • 19:35 Referee Phil Dowd has awarded a league-high eight penalties in the Premier League this season.
    • 19:30 QPR have lost each of their last four Premier League clashes with Man City, shipping three goals in each of the last three defeats and two in the loss before that.
    • 19:25 Here's the full story on Balotelli, who appears to have worn the sky blue shirt for the last time. He will join AC Milan tomorrow pending a medical. Premier League - Milan confirm Balotelli deal
    • 19:20 Manchester City assistant manager David Platt on Mario Balotelli: "I've not heard anything and to be honest it just seems like speculation. As far as we are concerned, he's still a Manchester City player. I don't think there's anything that could happen. I can only go off what you know and what I've seen, which seems to be speculation. It's a shame Robbie (Roberto Mancini) is not here. He might know more than me."
    • 19:15 Harry Redknapp: "This transfer window – I’ve never seen anything like it. Every agent seems to be trying to screw each other. It’s like gang warfare out there. It is scary. If you’ve got a deal for a player, another agent will try to scupper that deal if he is not involved in it. It’s unreal. It’s unbelievable what's going on. They’re all fighting for big money, that’s the problem. I’m not sure on exact numbers but I’ve been offered quite a few players and most of them have been useless."
    • 19:10 You are not mis-reading those teams: QPR have confirmed themselves that they have, deliberately, named two goalkeepers on their subs bench.
    • 19:05 QPR: Cesar; Onuoha, Nelsen, Hill, Traore; Mbia, Derry; Fabio, Granero, Taarabt; Remy. Subs: Green, Park, Ben Haim, Zamora, Murphy, Faurlin, Bothroyd. /// MAN CITY: Hart, Zabaleta (C), Garcia, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Barry, Nasri, Aguero, Silva, Tevez. Subs: Pantilimon, Nastasic, Rekik, Kolarov, Rodwell, Sinclair, Dzeko.
