    • 90+4' And there it is! Reading have a first win! I don't know how they did it - Everton livid with the officials, with Heitinga leading the protests.
    • 90+3' Fellaini cannot quite get something on this long ball as the whistles become deafening...
    • 90+2' Baines believes he should have a free-kick but he doesn't get it - nor the throw. Harsh.
    • 90+1' Pienaar wins a corner as we enter stoppage time. Three minutes of it to be added. Vellios heads it wide.
    • 90' Tabb counters down the left, but runs out of steam.
    • 89' Hunt goes into the book for a foul and Everton will pump it long.
    • 88' The fans are cheering on Reading with frayed nerves. They could never have imagined winning at this stage of the first half.
    • 86' Roberts strays offside. At the other end Everton fail to create a chance but are building pressure as time ticks on...
    • 85' Everton made a second change: Apostolos Vellios on for Hitzlsperger.
    • 84' Tabb misses the target from outside the box with his weaker right foot.
    • 83' Corner for the home side. Shorey's kick is missed by Howard and Roberts is there... it came off him last but another corner is awarded.
    • 82' Reading change: Noel Hunt on for two-goal hero Le Fondre.
    • 80' Everton change: Bryan Oviedo on for Naismith.
    • 80' Baines with a corner for the visitors... Fellaini heads it down and the ball comes off the inside the post - Federici catches! Let-off for Reading.
    • 80' They have won only one of their last 17 PL matches – the 4-0 win at Derby County in May 2008 - and have no wins in their last eight PL home matches since the 2-1 victory over Birmingham City in March 2008. Fellaini was booked for arguing over the penalty.
    • 79' GOAL READING! 2-1 to them! Le Fondre rolls it with power into the bottom corner. Strange kick - but in it went.
    • 78' PENALTY TO READING! Coleman jumps into the back of Le Fondre as he controls it on his chest!
    • 77' Free-kick to Everton on the left. They take it short and Pienaar crosses, but Reading defend. Fellaini then crosses, headed away again.
    • 76' Reading have conceded more goals in the final 30 minutes of matches (13) than any other club in the division this season.
    • 74' Naismith is just unable to get on the ball as it is played through to him on the right - Everton close to scoring again. This match showing no signs of letting up.
    • 73' The game opens up as Le Fondre gallops through on the counter for Reading - played in by Roberts - but a last-ditch tackle from Coleman denies him 30 yards out!
    • 72' Baines wins a corner off McAnuff, which comes to nothing.
    • 71' Roberts hooks a cross back from the byline but it is to a man in a black shirt. Fellaini on the counter on the left... he plays the ball inside to Osman, who wins a free-kick off Robson-Kanu.
    • 70' He is okay to carry on. Reading have drawn their last three league matches. It is their longest run in the division without defeat since going five PL matches unbeaten in December 2007.
    • 69' Shorey again causing problems from the left, Morrison arriving to attack the far post... he goes over Heitinga and lands awkwardly.
    • 67' Fellaini penalised as he barges his way into the box to attack a corner.
    • 65' Fellaini the target of a cross and the ball pops up for Hitzlsperger to volley inside the box... wide of the far post!
    • 64' Le Fondre opts not to shoot, turning away from goal. But Hitzlsperger backs off so far that he decides to turn back and curl an effort in.... wide of the far post.
    • 63' The first quiet minute of the half. My fingers hurt...
    • 62' Roberts fights for the ball twice and comes out with it - lax defending by Everton - before teeing up Le Fondre just inside the box. He shapes to curl it but scuffs his shot and Howard makes the save.
    • 61' The German now looks to volley from some way out, but does not catch it cleanly. Move on a few moments and he has a go with his weaker right foot, this time blocked.
    • 60' Pienaar again the architect after Fellaini wins the ball. Hitzlsperger is over on the left and on the end of the slipped ball... his cross-cum-shot is blocked.
    • 59' Jelavic with a burst down the left, fed by Pienaar, and denied by a fantastic sliding tackle by Morrison as he enters the box! At the other end Heitinga puts in a similarly last-ditch tackle.
    • 58' Shorey's kick is met by the head of Le Fondre - he outjumped Heitinga - but the ball is again over the bar.
    • 57' Jags now fouls Robson-Kanu as he feints and goes down the outside.
    • 57' Jagielka's header is over the top.
    • 56' Coleman on the end of a move as Everton 'put a foot on the ball' for perhaps the first time in the half. He wins a corner.
    • 56' The kick from just outside the box is defended but Reading attack again, down the left this time - the cross from Robson-Kanu is behind.
    • 55' McAnuff to the byline but looks to have lost out to Baines. He gets up to fight for the ball and wins a free-kick off the England international left-back!
    • 54' Baines with a low cross that Morrison stops as he falls backwards and a team-mate clears. Reading counter - as end-to-end as it was at the start of the match.
    • 53' He is indeed livid, sitting on the bench with his arms folded.
    • 52' How are Reading level? David Moyes will be fuming. The fans, restless in the first half, right behind Reading now.
    • 51' GOAL READING! 1-1! Le Fondre with the header from Shorey's cross from the right as Howard is wrongfooted!
    • 51' Reading win a free-kick in the final third. Shorey to take.
    • 50' The longest a club has gone without a win from the start of a PL season was Swindon Town, who failed to win in their first 15 PL matches in 1993-94. They finished that season bottom and were relegated.
    • 49' Shorey's corner is headed over by Leigertwood. He was under pressure at the far post - unlucky.
    • 48' Tabb, making his 97th appearance for Reading, looks for his first goal in the Royals shirt but his effort from the edge of the box is blocked.
    • 47' The corner comes to nothing.
    • 46' Roberts skips down the flank past Heitinga and wins a corner, but catches the Dutchman on the heel. He is hurt and will be off the pitch as Reading take the corner.
    • 46' The second half underway. Everton now kicking from left to right as we look at it. /// @petrovic92: "Everton in the top three."
    • - Everton should be a few ahead in this match but lead by just the one goal. What can they achieve this season? Tweet me @symco_eurosport
    • 45+2' Federici claims an up 'n' under from Jagielka and that brings the half to a close.
    • 45+1' Two crosses from Reading dealt with under pressure by American keeper Howard. McAnuff with the second of them from a tight angle on the right.
    • 45' Two minutes to be added on as Hitzlsperger's cross causes problems for Reading, who concede a corner.
    • 44' Reading win a corner out of nothing. When it is sent in, Mikele Leigertwood has a free header but puts it wide!
    • 43' Jagielka rises to head towards the bottom corner and with Federici beaten, the ball is cleared off the line by Jay Tabb!
    • 42' Apart from QPR this season, six other clubs have failed to win in their first 11 PL matches of the season. Three went down (Swindon Town in 1993-94, Manchester City in 1995-96 and Norwich City in 2004-05), while three stayed up (Everton in 1994-95, Blackburn Rovers in 1996-97 and Derby County in 2000-01). Expect Reading to make it 11 - and maybe also to go down! Sorry, Royals fans.
    • 41' Everton dominating the ball, as they have for most of this half.
    • 40' Baines delivers from the left after a well-worked move. Gorkss does well to hook it away as he dives backwards, although he and Federici almost collide - it was a great ball - and Jelavic chests down on the penalty spot before volleying at goal... Sean Morrison blocks it with his hand! Again Everton denied a certain penalty!
    • 38' Roberts with a dig at goal for Reading, but it is well over.
    • 37' Baines dinks in a ball, poor really as it is straight to the head of Gorkss, but the defender's header is weak and to Naismith. The Latvian then looks to spring the offside trap but plays Osman onside - and the England international fires over from inside the box! Should have been number two for Everton, but Federici in fact got a hand to it. Great save.
    • 36' Thomas Hitzlsperger with one of those trademark strikes from distance, parried out by Federici - it was straight at him but swerving. Jelavic unable to get a head on the rebound, but the flag was up against him anyway.
    • 35' Robson-Kanu with a better cross, defended by Everton. They counter and Jelavic gets clear on the left, looking for the head of Fellaini... just too high.
    • 34' Robson-Kanu tees up Shorey for a cross, but there is no one anywhere near the ball in.
    • 33' Fellaini penalised for a high boot.
    • 32' Everton win a corner from the set-piece. /// @Stevo092: "If Everton score another soon, I can see this turning into a heavy defeat for the royals!!!"
    • 31' Gorkss with a bad tackle on Coleman as the right-back gets to the ball first to fly down the flank. Again, he tackled with his wrong foot - booking.
    • 30' Federici slices a clearance into touch. The fans are getting restless - it has not been very good at all from the boys in blue and white hoops.
    • 29' Wonderful control on the thigh, spin and acceleration from Fellaini. Pienaar takes it on and threads through for Naismith, but he cannot quite get on the end of it.
    • 28' Roberts to the left and Robson-Kanu, who is looking bright... he goes outside Coleman but his low cross lacks power.
    • 27' Seamus Coleman annoyed at giving away a throw-in to Robson-Kanu and boots the ball away. Yellow card.
    • 26' Hal Robson-Kanu attacking the left byline and winning a corner. Excellent play. When the corner is headed out, McAnuff swings a left boot at it - and it dribbles well wide. Snatched at it a tad.
    • 25' Reading have made their worst start to a top-flight season after 10 matches, four points less than the 10 they picked up at the same stage in 2007-08. Is Reading's defence the worst in the Premier League? Get in touch! Tweet me @symco_eurosport
    • 24' Baines sprints over halfway with the ball on his left flank, but Roberts's cynical foul as he passes by earns him a yellow card. Naughty.
    • 23' Reading causing problems in the Everton box from the corner but Howard claims and clears.
    • 23' Gunter with a throw to the feet of Roberts - there is no other movement from Reading, who are lacking confidence - and he wins a free-kick off Baines.
    • 21' Reading back off from Pienaar after Gunter dallies on the ball to allow Jelavic to pick his pocket. He enters the box on the left and fires at goal with his right foot - just wide of the near post. Wrong foot. And shocking defending again from Reading.
    • 20' Gunter forward towards Jason Roberts. Everton get it away but Reading crank up the pressure.
    • 19' Jagielka with a solid header in defence for Evrton with Le Fondre lurking.
    • 18' The Latvian slid in with the wrong foot - his right - and took the left leg of Naismith.
    • 17' Everton denied a penalty. Kaspars Gorkss, the chief culprit for the goal along with Gunter, goes sliding in recklessly on Naismith just inside the box as Everton attack it on the right following a backheel from Jelavic. The linesman was right there.
    • 17' Coleman back for Howard, who again is well out of his goal - on the right wing! He boots clear just in time.
    • 16' Jobi McAnuff with an unnecessary foul on Baines, betraying his frustration.
    • 15' Everton, wearing all black, looking composed on the ball and using it well.
    • 14' And uncertain again at the back from the Royals. Federici looking agitated with his defence - he's not a shy keeper.
    • 13' Hesitant defending by Reading again as Naismith is almost allowed in behind once more following enterprising play from Pienaar.
    • 12' Steven Pienaar free on the left now, running along the byline and delivering to the near post where Jelavic is just denied by a home defender.
    • 11' Great chance wasted by Reading! Howard has a rush of blood and Le Fondre takes it past him outside the box. He looks to lift the ball over a backtracking defender, but puts it wide of the near post.
    • 10' GOAL EVERTON! 1-0 to them! Absolute horrorshow from the Reading defence. Jelavic is twice allowed to challenge for a ball he shouldn't and Chris Gunter smashes the ball sky-high when it should have gone miles away from the goal. Marouane Fellaini fails to control but Steven Naismith arrives to score from a yard out!
    • 8' Leon Osman turns in from the right and fires in a shot from 25 yards, saved and held by Federici.
    • 7' Johnny Heitinga concedes a free-kick on Le Fondre near halfway on the right. The ball is delivered by Shorey, but headed away.
    • 6' Everton with the ball on the left, earning a throw near the corner flag. They use it to go all the way back to Tim Howard.
    • 5' Fast start to this game, which promises to be an exciting one. What's your allegiance? And what do you make of your line-up? Tweet me @symco_eurosport
    • 4' Reading now with a corner. Shorey delivers it and Adam Le Fondre gets a head on it, but the ball runs out for a goal-kick.
    • 3' When the ball is delivered by Seamus Coleman, Nikica Jelavic is all alone at the far side - and volleys into the ground and over! Should have scored.
    • 2' Great chance for Phil Jagielka from the second ball at the corner, forcing a point-blank save from Adam Federici!
    • 2' Nicky Shorey has to leap to flick a long pass out for a corner as Everton threaten early on.
    • 1' Off we go, with Reading kicking from left to right in the first half.
    • 14:58 Reading can jump out of the bottom three if they win today and Aston Villa lose at Man City. Everton are looking to close on Chelsea in third. Table
    • 14:55 The teams emerge. It is a cold afternoon in Berkshire - woolly hats, scarves and hats abound.
    • 14:50 David Moyes: "I don't think we'll strengthen in January. I don't think we'll be looking to do any business - not because we wouldn't want to but I just don't think we will have the resources to properly do it in January." Moyes in no hurry to sign new deal
    • 14:45 Brian McDermott: “I’ve known Fellaini since he was 17. I was watching a tournament, I think it might have been in Porto, in around 2006. I asked about him to see if he would come to Reading, but at that time he was 17 and was £7 million so we were nowhere near it. David Moyes is a great manager and he has done it at this level for a long, long time and proven to be one of the great managers. I have done two or three years as manager and my record, up to the last 10 games, has been okay." McDermott: Win is getting close
    • 14:40 Reading have put in an average of 23.3 crosses per game in open play this season in the Premier League; more than any other side. I couldn't foresee a situation during the match where I would use this stat, so you may as well have it now! Reading team page
    • 14:35 Everton have conceded first in each of their last six Premier League games but haven’t lost any of them; a record for any team in the competition. Everton team page
    • 14:30 Everton have lost just one of their last 11 Premier League away matches (W3 D7 L1). Reading are without a win in 10 Premier League games this season and haven’t won any of their last eight top-flight home games (D5 L3).
    • 14:25 The Toffees have won four and lost just one of the six league matches against the Royals.
    • 14:20 Thomas Hitzlsperger makes his first start for Everton since joining in October. Striker Kevin Mirallas is absent with a hamstring injury while midfielder Darron Gibson sits out a 10th successive match with a thigh problem. Forward Victor Anichebe (hamstring) and defender Tony Hibbert (calf) are also out.
    • 14:15 Reading winger Jimmy Kebe misses out with a tight groin while goalkeeper Alex McCarthy (shoulder) and midfield duo Danny Guthrie (thigh) and Jem Karacan (knee) are also out.
    • 14:10 TEAMS: Reading: Federici, Gunter, Morrison, Gorkss, Shorey, McAnuff, Leigertwood, Tabb, Robson-Kanu, Le Fondre, Roberts. Subs: Taylor, Mariappa, Cummings, Harte, McCleary, Hunt, Pogrebnyak /// Everton: Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Heitinga, Coleman, Pienaar, Hitzlsperger, Fellaini, Osman, Naismith, Jelavic.
