    • - Don't forget UK users can watch highlights of this game from 00:01 on Monday morning.
    • 90+5 FULL TIME: West Brom with a late chance to level things up. Joel comes for a free-kick but gets nowhere near it. The ball is headed toward goal and McManaman heads off the line. And that’s it.
    • 90+4 Elsewhere, Villa have won.
    • 90+3 Thomas whips the ball to the far post and that looks like a penalty as Espinoza looks like he has fouled Jones at the far post.
    • 90+1 Five minutes of the added stuff – no idea where that came from.
    • 90' Joel has to make two saves in quick succession. First he tips a well-struck effort from Dorrans around the post before tipping a Ridgewell header over the bar.
    • 89' The hosts led twice here - great spirit from Wigan.
    • 88' Wigan will be hoping that they don't concede late as they did last weekend but they are doing well to hold out - playing the ball well around the back.
    • 87' Mulumbu off for Brown – a sixteen year-old debutant.
    • 85' Can Wigan close this out?
    • - A quick manual refresh should help with any slowing of the comments - we are having some technical issues.
    • 83' But, also, on reflection, West Brom could have had a penalty just before they conceded as Boyce looked like he had handled the ball from Thomas’s cross.
    • 82' Clarke’s decision to withdraw Lukaku and Rosenberg looks questionable now.
    • 81' What a comeback. Wigan looked dead just after half-time.
    • 80 GOOOAL!! Unbelievable. McManaman. Maloney skips past two men down the left and he finds McManaman inside the box who side-foots home. 3-2.
    • 78' Wigan have lost a bit of their composure and West Brom break again. The ball is switched to Thomas but his cross is cleared – and there were claims for hands from Boyce. Again no penalty there.
    • 76' A very important last quarter of an hour or so.
    • 75' Wigan have a free-kick in the left corner – Maloney over it but his delivery is to the far post as his colleagues charge to the front post.
    • 74' Espinoza, a midfielder, comes on in the stead of Beausejour.
    • 73' Slight hiatus for Beausejour to be taken from the field on a stretcher.
    • 72' Chance for West Brom to re-take the lead. Jones skips past an injured Beausejour but has his firmly struck shot is saved by Joel.
    • 71' A scramble in the West Brom box culminates in an half-hearted penalty appeal but Probert waves play on. No handball there.
    • 70' Wigan build from the back with twenty minutes or so to go but West Brom do well to put pressure on the ball.
    • 68' The game has lost a little bit of its fluency following those goals and substitutions, and it appears to be suiting the home side but Olsson plays a sloppy back pass to Foster. Kone charges it down and it is out for a goal kick.
    • 66' Late one from Golobart sees him in the book for a foul on Long.
    • 65' Double sub from the hosts: Thomas and Morrison for Lukaku and Rosenberg.
    • 64' Kone gets up but his header loops high and over.
    • 63' Wigan combining their supreioirity in terms of possession with some urgency now and the home side are rattled. Kone wins a free-kick on the right of the box and Maloney delivers.
    • 62' If Wigan go on and win from here then the impact that may have on their fight against relegation will be hard to measure – surely not another great escape?
    • 61' Wigan again having more of the ball – 54% to 46%.
    • 60' McAuley again rises highest again but this time heads over.
    • 59' Great last ditch challenge to prevent Lukaku a shooting opportunity.
    • 58' GOOOAL!! Unbelievable. Maloney looks for McArthur at the far post and McArthur ghosts in behind Ridgewell to head his side level. WHAT A SUB.
    • 57' Free-kick comes to nothing.
    • 56' Double sub: Gomez and Stam off for Golobart and McArthur.
    • 55' Long surges forward and Maloney clips his heels. Yellow.
    • 54' Beausejour again looks to get a quick early ball in but it is poor.
    • 53' Martinez is looking to make a change here. McArthur limbering up on the edge.
    • 51' That’s basically a microcosm of their season – they do so much well but then let themselves down.
    • 50' Wigan have it all to do again.
    • 50' GOOOAL!!! Free header. McAuley rises highest from a free-kick wide right to head past Joel. Kone marking the big centre-back and that was pretty much a free header. 2-1.
    • 48' Long gets past Scharner but the Austrian hauls him back and that really should be a yellow.
    • 47' Just as with the first half, Wigan begin by offering more threat.
    • 46' West Brom get the second half underway.
    • 45+2 And that’s it from the first-half.
    • 45+1 Nope, easily cleared.
    • 45' McManaman comes in off the right and then has a shot deflected for a corner. One last first-half chance?
    • 44' Neither manager will be pleased to have conceded here – Wigan began in the ascendancy before the hosts scored but West Brom then relinquished the lead pretty easily. All to play for come the second half.
    • 43' Maloney is definitely playing off Kone now – meaning that there is even more space for Beausejour to run into.
    • 42' Rosenberg, who has struggled to get into the West Brom team this season, has been very bright but this time he drags an effort wide of the goal.
    • 40' Maloney is picking the ball up in more central areas now and beginning to exert some more influence – this time, though, his pass is fractionally behind Kone.
    • 39' That was the urgency there. Great quick move. Praise must also go to Probert there who let the play flow following a foul in the build-up.
    • 39' GOOOAL!! Kone. Wigan break at pace. Beausejour is found again in space and he whips a tremendous ball into the box and Kone gets up early to head back across Foster to level things up. 1-1.
    • 37' Great effort from Maloney, who gets the ball up and over the wall and curling away from Foster but it just has too much on it and curls wide of the post.
    • 36' Maloney collects the ball, and runs across the path of Dorrans who clips his ankle. That’s a free-kick about 25 yards out and dead centre.
    • 35' While playing pretty well, Wigan’s play lacks the urgency of a side in their predicament.
    • 33' Rosenberg left Watson in his wake for the goal – lacking match fitness there.
    • 32' Wigan need three wins from their last four games so they need to get something from this one.
    • 31' Simplest of goals but it shows the importance of getting men up in support of the ball. Lukaku started that move and is the point of their attack but both Rosenberg and Long got beyond their man.
    • 29' GOOOAL!! Lukaku slips the ball to Rosenberg, who crosses for Long who taps in.
    • 28' Decent challenge in the middle of midfield and West Brom are on the break.
    • 27' Wigan will need to make the most of this pressure.
    • 26' Stam continues to offer a decent outlet down the right. The ball is worked left to Beausejour but both full-backs are reluctant to put the ball in with only Kone in the box. Gomez lifts the ball to Kone in the channel who clips the ball to the penalty spot. McManaman meets it but it is just a fraction ahead of him so his effort is wide.
    • 24' Wigan are playing some decent stuff here and the question must remain why they don’t play this well earlier in the season.
    • 23' Long continues to make some decent runs – and at some stage the ball will have the correct weight on it.
    • 22' West Brom are counter-attacking well though but the final ball is missing at the moment – for about the third time in succession the ball at the end of the break has too much on it.
    • 20' The visitors are flooding the midfield well but McManaman and Maloney need to get close to Kone as at the moment he is a little isolated when the ball comes into the box.
    • 19' Wigan are by far the better side here. They work the ball well again through midfield before then out to Stam but his cross – with his weaker left – has too much on it.
    • 18' At the resultant corner, Boyce is all over his man as he heads over the bar. Definite foul but Probert gives the free-kick on the basis that the foul was on the edge of the six yard box.
    • 17' Kone leads a break for Wigan and with no West Brom player coming to meet him he takes the shot on from distance that Foster does well to get down to to push around the post.
    • 15' West Brom have their first period of concerted possession now but the visitors press well.
    • 14' Wigan are playing high risk stuff here. Both full-backs are pushing up and leaving a lot of space behind them. This time Stam finds McManaman but his shot is easily claimed.
    • 13' Maloney finds Beausejour in an advanced position down the left and he looks for the run of Kone but Foster reads it to collect.
    • 11' While well-struck, it is straight at Joel Robles, who takes it with ease.
    • 10' Watson handles the ball about thirty yards out and that’s a free-kick in a rather dangerous area. Dorrans over is.
    • 8' Ridgewell brings that attack to a halt with a rather odious challenge. Yellow and rightly so.
    • 7' But Long is now in down Beausejour’s side but his cross is collected easily by Robles and he sets another attack in motion.
    • 5' Beausejour, who has started as a full-back, has pushed right on as the Latics look to target that side. This time his cross is just too deep.
    • 4' Rosenberg looks to find the run of Long but a visiting defender just gets a foot in.
    • 3' McCarthy finds Maloney wide left and he comes inside but his effort is wild and wide. Bright start from Wigan.
    • 2' Slow start from the visitors before they quicken the play up and switch it to Beausejour but he had gone a fraction too soon and the assistant referee’s flag is up.
    • 1 Today’s referee Lee Probert gets the game underway with a toot of his whistle. Wigan get it off and running.
    • 14:55 MATCH ODDS: West Brom 11/8 Wigan 15/8 Draw 12/5
    • 14:50 Roberto Martinez: "People have been saying that [Aston Villa's 6-1 win over Sunderland] was a very bad result for us but I thought it was the opposite. I felt it would be really dangerous just to leave that final place for a final showdown between Wigan and Aston Villa. Going into the final day I’d rather have more than one or two teams involved.”
    • 14:45 Steve Clarke: "Maybe Southampton might have thought last week that it was a mid-table clash with nothing on it, but we showed them that it mattered to us and we wanted the points. When Arsenal came here a few weeks ago we gave them a game. They were chasing a Champions League spot and had everything to play for but it was a game we should have got something out of. It’s no different tomorrow. We have our own ambitions and targets."
    • 14:40 In contrast, West Brom brought a run of four games without a win to an end last week out at Southampton and, in doing so, ensured that this will be their best-ever Premier League season – so, expect this, their penultimate home game, to have an air of celebration about it.
    • 14:35 Aston Villa's brutalisation of Sunderland Monday night lifted them five points clear of the relegation zone, and, if Wigan fail to win at the Hawthorns, the best they can hope for is to still have a chance to stay up on the last day of the season. Read Early Doors' hopes for the relegation run-in here.
    • 14:30 Wigan are forced into a defensive change with Maynor Figueroa ruled out for the rest of the season with a groin injury. Paraguay centre-back Antolin Alcaraz has not recovered from a hamstring injury meaning Ronnie Stam comes in at the back. Midfielder Ben Watson, out since last November with a broken leg, starts having been on the bench last weekend while defender Roman Golobart is on the bench.
    • 14:25 West Brom are without captain Chris Brunt, striker Marc-Antoine Fortune and defender Goran Popov. Brunt’s knee injury keeps him sidelined, while Popov has a calf problem. Fortune starts a three-game suspension but Youssouf Mulumbu returns from a ban of his own and Peter Odemwingie is again on the bench.
    • 14:20 TEAMS: West Bromwich Albion: Foster; Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell; Yacob, Dorrans, Mulumbu; Long, Rosenberg, Lukaku. Subs: Myhill (gk), Tamas, Dawson, Morrison, Odemwingie, Brown, Thomas. /// Wigan Athletic: Robles, Boyce, Scharner, Stam, Beausejour, McCarthy, Watson, Gomez, Maloney, McManaman, Kone.
