- 30'WHAT A PASS! Following some slick passing in midfield, De Bruyne plays yet another incredible through-ball for Jesus. The Brazil forward this time manages to stay onside, but he can only pick out the side-netting with his poor attempt.
- 28'While Liverpool have arguably been the better team so far, De Bruyne has been the best player on the field. That was a well-taken penalty, too - City's spot-kick woes seem to be a thing of the past.

- 17'Foden rather needlessly fouls Robertson to give away a free-kick deep in the Liverpool half. The hosts have had 62 per cent of the ball in the opening 17 minutes.
