    • - Roma pay for a truly dreadful opening twenty or so minutes that cost them dear. They were hardly much better come the second half to be fair and it was an easy win for the hosts.
    • 90+3 And that's it from the Juventus Stadium - stay here for the report.
    • 90+2 Three minutes of added time
    • 90+1 GOOOAL!! Breakaway goal. A high boot from Chiellini gives Roma an opportunity to throw the ball into the box. Juve defend it well and Barzagli charges forward before slipping the ball to Giovinco who rounds Stekelenburg and slots into an empty net.
    • 89' Pogba receives the ball in a central-ish position, works some space and then fires an effort a yard or so wide of the post from outside the box.
    • 87' A nice bit of movement from Osvaldo gives him a yard of space but his volley is always rising.
    • 85' Paul Pogba on for De Ceglie.
    • 83' Juventus sit deep, almost inviting pressure from the visitors but they are lacking in imagination and when the time arrives for the killer ball it is over-hit.
    • 81' That's a nasty one from Giovinco on Marquinhos and he is in the book there.
    • 79' This match is very stretched, which suits Juve. They have made numerous breakaways this half but the final ball has let them down.
    • 77' Double substitution for the hosts. Giovinco and Asamoah for Marchisio and Matri.
    • 75' That penalty hasn’t exactly been the catalyst for a Roma revival here. This game is all but over as a contest.
    • 73' Stekelenburg beats away a ferocious strike from Vucinic for a corner. The corner is whipped into the box at pace and is almost bundled over the line by De Ceglie. It hits the post following a smart stop from Stekelenburg. Bonucci tucks the rebound away but it is disallowed for offside.
    • 71' Juventus almost respond straight away but Marchisio’s effort just whistles past the past following a quick break.
    • 69' GOOOAL!! Osvaldo waits for Buffon to go down and slots it into to the opposite corner to give the visitors hope.
    • 68' And Destro wins a penalty. He exchanges passes with Osvaldo and while looking to make the return he is bundled over by Bonucci.
    • 67' Destro flashes an effort over the bar from a corner. A great instinctive volley from the youngster.
    • 65' Perrotta and Destro for Totti and Tachtsidis.
    • 63' Osvaldo receives the ball with his back to goal, and does well to feed Lamela but his first touch is poor and the ball skittles out of play.
    • 61' Juventus have definitely reduced their intensity here.
    • 60' Tachtsidis takes the ball wonderfully well on his thigh before volleying just wide of the post from outside the box.
    • 58' Vucinic stretches the visiting defence again and latches onto a ball in the channel. He does well to come back inside but takes a touch too many and Burdisso’s foot averts the danger.
    • 56' A little slower half this one and Roma are finding a little more space but the home defence looks solid and they remain compact and force their visitors to work the ball in front of them.
    • 54' Juve find themselves in a three-one-three situation but Vucinic puts too much on a through ball and it carries through to Stekelenburg.
    • 52' Roma offering a little more going forward now and Lamela looks to spring the offside trap but he goes a fraction early.
    • 50' Pirlo is dictating things in midfield here. This game is effectively over.
    • 47' Stekelenburg is in action again early in the half. He does well to get something on an attempted Matri lob. Decent stop.
    • 46' We're back underway at the Juventus Stadium.
    • 45+3 And that's half-time
    • 45+2 Lamela with a last gasp header on the stroke of half-time but it has no power and Buffon claims.
    • 45+1 Pirlo continues to be afforded far too much space in midfield. You'd imagine that will be addressed at half time.
    • 45' Two minutes of added time here.
    • 44' The wings continue to pose a problem for Roma with literally acres of space either side. Juventus it must be said have not managed to maintain the early intensity that afforded them a three goal lead but it is easy out there at the moment.
    • 43' Juventus are managing to stretch the play with the ball but they are then very compact if they lose it.
    • 42' If Roma get to the interval with only a three goal deficit, they’ll be happy. This is a butchering.
    • 40' Matri goes a fraction early again
    • 39' Roma play the corner short but it is poor and Juventus break with Vucinic and Matri. The former’s ball to the latter is delayed a fraction and Matri is called offside.
    • 37' Lamela leads a rare foray forward for the visitors but his centre is blocked by Chiellini for a corner.
    • 36' The change matters little though as Juventus hit the woodwork again. Matri again breaks the offside trap, holds the ball well and then feeds Vucinic on the edge. His well struck effort has the beating of Stekelenburg but not the crossbar.
    • 35' Early change from Roma. Marquinhos is on for Balzaretti and that is tactical. No injury there.
    • 33' Vucinic leads another rampant attack from the hosts. He pulls wide and rather than run at his man he elects to find Vidal coming in at an angle. The shot from the Chilean is always rising.
    • 31' Roma have their first concerted period of pressure but Totti is crowded out as he looks to break into the box.
    • 30' Juve are first to every ball here and Marchisio, on the left, is picking up all kinds of space.
    • 28' The Roma midfield, provoked into action having seen their side concede three so quickly, make it a little harder for their hosts in the middle of midfield but even when they win the ball they struggle to do much with it.
    • 26' The pressure on the ball is quite something from the home side. Roma can't get out at the moment.
    • 24' This could get very embarrassing for the visitors. They are so ragged and Juve are literally walking through them. This time De Ceglie looks to exchange passes with Vucinic on the edge of the box but it is a little too tight.
    • 22' Marchisio breaks the offside trap and literally smashes the ball against the upright from the tightest of angles.
    • 20' Wow. The visitors have literally been mugged.
    • 19' GOOOALL!! Matri makes it a quick-fire three. He breaks the offside trap controls the ball oh his chest and slots past an onrushing Stekelenburg. Vidal turning provider this time.
    • 17' Chance for an almost immediate reply but having made a stealth run to the back post Lamela fluffs his lines and side foots wide.
    • 16' GOOOAALL!! Vidal takes the kick and although Stekelenburg guesses right, the effort has too much power on it and the ball nestles in the corner. 2-0.
    • 14' Stekelenburg comes off his line to thwart Marchisio, the follow up is volleyed straight at Castan, who blocks it with his hand. The referee awards the penalty and brandishes another yellow card.
    • 13' A couple of cynical challenges from either side as the game loses its flow.
    • 12' Roma go straight up the other end but the ball runs out for a throw.
    • 11' GOOOAL!! And Pirlo punishes the visitors by firing the ball under the wall and into the bottom corner from just inside the D. 1-0.
    • 10' Pirlo over it.
    • 9' Marchisio looks to get onto a ball over the top and there is a coming together with Taddei and the Juve player on the edge of the box. The referee adjudges it to not be denying a goal scoring opportunity even though he was the last man and brandishes a yellow.
    • 8' A ball from the right flashes across the Roma box until it arrives at Marchisio at the back post but with the angle against him he slashes it into the side netting.
    • 6' Osvaldo goes a fraction too soon and is rightly called as offside.
    • 5' De Ceglie is being afforded all kinds of space down the left and for the second time in quick succession a centre from that side just about evades a Juventus boot.
    • 4' The ball is worked through the centre to Tachtsidis but his attempted effort is easily blocked.
    • 3' Osvaldo looks to get in behind but Bonucci ushers the ball out of play for a goal kick.
    • 2' De Ceglie receives an early switch of play and his whipped cross into the box has nerves jangling in the Roma defence but Vucinic can’t control it and the chance has gone.
    • 1' The hosts get us underway at the Juventus Stadium.
    • 19:40 Roma have only been able to secure one victory in their last 14 Serie A encounters with Juventus, stretching back to February 2004 and Giallorossi coach Zeman will be desperate to improve upon that record.
    • 19:35 There has been an extremely hostile relationship between Zeman and the Old Lady with the coach making doping accusations against the club in the 1990s and he further stoked the fires this week claiming that Antonio Conte should not be allowed to train Juventus during his one-year ban.
    • 19:30 Despite the continued absence of their coach Antonio Conte, Juventus remain top while their visitors – under the tutelage of Zdenek Zeman for a second time - are in eighth following their 1-1 draw against Sampdoria on Wednesday.
    • 19:25 The Serie A champions are without Simone Pepe and Simone Padoin while Claudio Marchisio is in the starting eleven along with Mirko Vucinic and Alessandro Matri. The visitors Roma are without duo Miralem Pjanic and Dodo. Meanwhile Pablo Osvaldo replaces young Italian striker Mattia Destro.
