    • FC Barcelona
    • RCD Mallorca
    • - What did you make of the match? Is Fabregas better in a more advanced position? Are Mallorca doomed? Let me know on Twitter (@grahamruthven).
    • - As for Real Mallorca, things look fairly grim. They now lie slumped at the foot of La Liga after Deportivo's result earlier today and looked deflated and rather uninterested tonight. That is worrying for them.
    • - A very impressive performance by Barcelona tonight. A warning for PSG who will have watched this, no doubt. Fabregas, Sanchez and Tello the stand out performers. Great to see Abidal and Vilanova back where they should be.
    • 91' FULL TIME: Barcelona 5-0 Real Mallorca
    • 90' An additional minute of stoppage time to be played at the Camp Nou.
    • 89' Tello receives the ball at the back post and tries to work it back into the centre when he might've been better served shooting on goal.
    • 88' Barca are passing this game out, like they tend to do with most games at Camp Nou. Toying with Mallorca.
    • 86' This result will restore Barca's lead at the top of the table to 13 points following Real Madrid's 5-1 win over Levante earlier.
    • 85' Abidal makes a surge forward from the back, with the Camp Nou crowd urging Deulofeu to pass it to himl, but the teenager doesn't see his run and settles for a corner.
    • 84' Barca bring Alexis Sanchez off and they will play with ten men for the last few minutes of this game.
    • 83' Regardless of how good Barca have been Mallorca have been dire tonight. You have to worry for them as La Liga's bottom side. I can't see them mounting a fightback between now and the end of the season on this basis.
    • 82' Unsurprisingly this game has lost its flow. That tends to happen when so many subs are made.
    • 81' Song has played well tonight in the Busquets role. He struggled in Spain when he first arrived from Arsenal but has grown into the role and has looked comfortable there tonight.
    • 79' What is most impressive about this Barca side on the pitch now is that they're playing in exactly the same way as Barca's first selection would. Young players like Thiago, Deulofeu, Tello etc are all very technical players, bred to play for this team.
    • 78' Nunes heads at goal from a Mallorca corner but his effort is saved easily by Pinto.
    • 77' Alfaro's shot on goal takes a deflection off both Bartra and Abidal and flashes just over Pinto's goal. The Barca keeper didn't even move!
    • 76' Deulofeu tries to work his way past Garcia but has to settle for a corner.
    • 75' Thiago swings a corner kick into the box, which is initially cleared, but Alves smashes a first time volley towards goal, only for it to go over by inches. That would've been special.
    • 74' YELLOW CARD: Alexis Sanchez (Barcelona).
    • 73' Everyone will look to Fabregas and Sanchez as the stand out performers tonight but Tello has also been excellent tonight. Stretched the pitch and provided an outlet for his team. There's been an end product there too.
    • 72' This performance reminds of the game they played againt Milan in the last round of the Champions League. Mallorca have had very little to feed off. Not even Pinto has given them much!
    • 70' Abidal gets a huge reception from the Camp Nou crowd as he returns to the Barca team for the first time in a year after a spell out battling cancer. Heart warming stuff.
    • 69' Real Mallorca sub: Tomas Pina OFF, Javi Marquez ON.
    • 69' Barcelona sub: Gerard Pique OFF, Eric Abidal ON.
    • 68' The carousel of passing is spinning now. Barca just passing their way through Mallorca.
    • 67' Hutton plays a very good ball forward to Alfaro but the Mallorca player can't find the target and pulls his effort across the face of goal.
    • 66' Deulofeu is brought on for Barca. The 19 year old is highly thought of at Barca and has 18 goals for the B side this season. The new Messi they call him. No pressure then.
    • 65' Barcelona sub: Cesc Fabregas OFF, Gerard Deulofeu ON.
    • 64' Pique strikes the freekick but it goes over. It's like a free for all for freekicks with Messi out.
    • 63' YELLOW: Alejandro Alfaro (Real Mallorca)
    • 62' Pique surges forward, presumably because he got bored at the back, and almost scored after meeting Tello's cross in the box, but his header went just over the bar.
    • 61' In scoring a hat-trick tonight Fabregas is the first Spanish player to score three for Barca at the Camp Nou since Luis Enrique in 2001.
    • 60' Giovani goes down under the challenge of Pique and does that thing players do when they grab the ball to try and force the referee to give a freekick. Sort of backfired when he was booked for handball.
    • 58' Montoya is dispossessed by Kevin Garcia but he can't find a teammate in the opposition penalty area.
    • 57' Tello chases down a pass down the left and cuts inside Hutton before angling an effort across Aouate but his shot flashes past the post.
    • 56' Giovani tries to prod the ball past Pique but the Barca centre back makes the challenge and clears.
    • 55' The Camp Nou rises to applaud Eric Abidal as the Frenchman takes to the sidelines for his warm-up. They like him in this part of the world.
    • 54' There is still a competitive edge to this game, probably by virtue of the number of Barca players on the pitch who have a point to prove ahead of the game against PSG.
    • 53' Mallorca have the ball in the net from a corner but the linesman flags for offside. Not conclusive on first viewing.
    • 51' Replays show that when Hutton cleared a Alves cross minutes earlier he actually did so with his hand rather than his head. Should've been a penalty.
    • 50' That substitution now sees the two Dos Santos brothers line up on the same pitch but for different sides. Giovani for Mallorca and Jonathan for Barca.
    • 49' Barcelona sub: Andres Iniesta OFF, Jonathan Dos Santos ON.
    • 48' Alves finds loads of space on the right and fires a cross to Tello but Hutton clears for a corner.
    • 47' That Fabregas goal means that Mallorca now have the joint worst defensive record in La Liga, conceding 63. Will that stay the same come full time?
    • 45' Real Mallorca sub: Tomer Hemed OFF, Pep Lluis Marti ON.
    • 46' GOAL! Barcelona 5-0 Real Mallorca (46 mins - Cesc Fabregas). And there's the hat-trick for Fabregas, who finishes after being put through by Iniesta.
    • 45' Barcelona get the second half under way.
    • - What have you made of the first half at the Camp Nou? Let me know on Twitter (@grahamruthven).
    • - This game is as good as over. Or rather, Mallorca wish it was over. They've still got to come out for the second half. Is there anything they can do to stop this Barca side?
    • - You would never know Barcelona are missing the best player in the world. The home side have been rampant despite a fairly positive start by Real Mallorca. Fabregas and Snachez have run the show so far.
    • 46' HALF TIME: Barcelona 4-0 Real Mallorca
    • 45' Alves strikes the freekick but curls it high and wide of the upright.
    • 44' Fabregas plays an inch perfect ball through to Iniesta who is brought down by Nsue.
    • 42' For Mallorca this is about avoiding a mauling and maintaining their dignity and spirit in their efforts to avoid relegation.
    • 41' This game for Barca is about preparation for Wednesday's Champions League tie against PSG. With that considered maybe Barca would ask Mallorca to test out their inexperienced centre backs a bit more. This is a little routine.
    • 40' Fabregas has played in the false nine position before but tonight he is performing the role to perfection. I wonder what Arsene Wenger is thinking watching his former captain play like this in such an advanced position.
    • 39' This is the Fabregas and Sanchez show at the moment. Those claims that Barca are a one-man team when Messi plays look a bit silly now.
    • 38' GOAL! Barcelona 4-0 Real Mallorca (38 mins - Alexis Sanchez). This is getting ridiculous now. Fabregas plays over the top to Sanchez who takes the pass in his stride and pokes past the keeper.
    • 36' GOAL! Barcelona 3-0 Real Mallora (36 mins - Cesc Fabregas). That partnership strikes again. Fabregas picks out Sanchez, the Chilean returns it and Fabregas slots it home.
    • 33' Hemed dispossesses Thiago 30 yards from his own goal and fires just past the post. Pinto does the Mr Cool routine but he must've been worried about that.
    • 32' Replays show Sanchez should have indeed scored a third for Barca. He was under pressure from Bigas but still should've found the net. I'm led to believe that sort of finish isn't unusual for Sanchez.
    • 31' Sanchez misses a glorious chance! Tello played a low ball across the face of goal to the Chilean who looked certain to score, but he didn't seem to make the right connection and cushions it up into the air. Strange finish.
    • 29' Fabregas tries to flick the ball into the path of Martin Montoya who surges forward from the back, but it's cut out by Hutton.
    • 28' Barca just need 15 points from their last nine league games to win the title. They're well on their way here.
    • 27' That way Iniesta manages to keep the ball seemingly glued to his foot when skipping past challenges cannot be taught. Well, apart from at Barca. They appear to teach everyone to do it!
    • 26' Iniesta takes the ball past numerous Mallorca challenges before creating space for himself and shooting at goal, forcing Aouate into a good save.
    • 25' Nunes smashes a shot against Thiago and makes a claim for handball but referee Muniz Fernandez waves those claims away.
    • 23' Vilanova will be pleased with how Fabregas and Sanchez have taken on the attacking mantle with Messi out injured. Barca, in typical Barca fashion, aren't even fielding a recognisable striker!
    • 22' And all of a sudden this game looks routine for Barca, despite the injuries and rested players. Fabregas' goal was beautifully worked and Sanchez did well to stay alert for the second one.
    • 21' GOAL! Barcelona 2-0 Real Mallorca (21 mins - Alexis Sanchez). It's the Fabregas-Sanchez partnership again. This time Fabregas shoots and Sanchez tucks in the rebound.
    • 19' GOAL! Barcelona 1-0 Real Mallorca (19 mins - Cesc Fabregas). A one-two with Sanchez puts Fabregas through on goal and the former Arsenal midfielder slots past the keeper. Barca make this game look so easy.
    • 18' Hutton does well down the right wing and cuts a great ball back, but there's nobody there for Mallorca. Presumably they weren't expecting him to do that, along with any Villa fans.
    • 17' Barcelona not pressing as high as they perhaps do in top gear. Allowing Mallorca at least some level of possession in their half.
    • 16' Hutton can't get past Thiago so he wrestles him to the ground. Somewhere Alex McLeish is proudly watching on.
    • 15' Barcelona have scored on average four goals a game this season. Pretty frightening propsect for any visitors to the Camp Nou, especially if you're bottom of La Liga.
    • 13' Pique finds Sanchez at the back post who tries to square the ball back into the box, but it's cleared. The angle was tight but the Chilean probably should've had a shot on goal.
    • 12' Barca now starting to control possession and look more Barca-like.
    • 11' Pique almost catches out his own keeper Pinto with a heavy backpass. Thankfully, for Barca, Pinto moves his feet quick enough to clear and then gives Pique the stare.
    • 10' Alexis Sanchez tries to find Fabregas with a tricky little backheel but Jose Nunes intercepts.
    • 9' Surprisingly open start by Barca so far. Playing like a normal football team would. With long balls and cross-field passes and everything!
    • 8' Dani Alves put his club of a right fot through the set-piece but he doesn't get any wobble on the striker and Dudu Aouate saves comfortably.
    • 7' Nsue brings down Cesc Fabregas 30 yards out. No Messi to take this one.
    • 6' Marc Bartra starts at the back for Barca. He's a player who hasn't inspired confidence in manager Tito Vilanova, but he's been forced to field the centre back due to injuries. Can Bartra change his boss' mind?
    • 5' Emilio Nsue is down on the turf after he was taken out by Thiago in a challenge for a header. A breather for all at the Camp Nou. It's been a frantic start by both sides!
    • 4' Christian Tello is played through by Andres Iniesta but he drags his shot past the far post. He normally does better from that position.
    • 3' A misunderstanding between Pinto and Pique almost allows Tomer Hemed in but the Israeli forward lifts his effort on to the roof of the net.
    • 2' Alan Hutton plays a good ball down the line to Giovani Dos Santos but Gerard Pique comes across to clear.
    • 2' Mallorca are without a win since December but might see an opportunity in this game for them. Barca have made seven changes to the side that faced PSG with one eye on next week's return leg.
    • 1' Real Mallorca get this top against bottom tie up and running at the Camp Nou.
    • 21:00 The teams emerge to Barcelona's famous club anthem. It's a catchy little ditty, that one.
    • 20:55 Real Mallorca will start this game as La Liga's bottom side should Deportivo La Coruna hold on to a win against Real Zaragoza.
    • 20:50 Barcelona have a number of injuries to key members, other than Messi, to contend with. Adriano is out with a thigh injury, Carles Puyol with a knee injury, Pedro with a calf injury and Javier Mascherano is also out with a knee injury.
    • 20:45 For Real Mallorca the stats don't look too promising for them. Barca have scored at least two goals in 24 of their last 26 games and are yet to be beaten at Camp Nou in the league this season.
    • 20:40 Barca make a number of changes from the side that drew with PSG in the Champions League during the week but of course the biggest one of them all was forced, with Lionel Messi ruled out with a hamstring injury.
    • 20:35 TEAM NEWS: Barcelona - Pinto; Alves, Pique, Bartra, Montoya; Thiago, Song, Iniesta,; Sanchez, Fabregas, Tello. /// Real Mallorca - Aouate; Hutton, Nunes, Bigas, Kevin; Nsue, Pina, Alvaro, Giovani; Tissone, Hemed.
