    Transfer Season Gossip!!!

Manchester City will make a £15m bid for Everton defender Joleon Lescott when he returns from England international duty. :Manchester Evening News

i'd like to get more for him. if we could get 20mill maybe we'd be tempted.

city have obviously got more money than sense and if we sell a quality player we should make sure its worth our while.

      • I hope that Everton can find some money from somewhere to strengthen our side in a number of positions. We need a strongman in midfield, not just a stopper but someone with the skills, speed and determination to run the engine of our side. We also need a really good, mobile left back. Joe Ledley from Cardiff would be an excellent acquisition and that young player from Leeds appears to have great potential. Whether we have sufficient fire power up front will remain a mistery but I do think that if Saha stays injury free and receives good ball from both the flanks and through the middle of the field he can score goals.
It would be great to acquire a top striker but after Ronaldo's immoral fee we are out of the market. However, I believe that Everton with a few good transfers can compete well next season. I just hope that David Moyes will be able to acquire the new players immediately rather than wait until the last few minutes of the transfer window.
