There is a difference between a 'leader' and a winner. They can often go together, a 'leader' can inspire others to 'win' over all odds by sheer personality. However it can and often does go wrong eventually when a 'leader' is unable to take advantage of advice or change of circumstances and starts to drive his team/nation/company in the wrong direction. Earlier this season I suspected that Alex had reached this point, I think jury is still out. I hope he still has the 'magic' and luck to inspire success, but after 20 years the odds are getting longer. One day his mistakes will outnumber his genius for success, hope we have a little longer to go before then.
