    Next Years 1st Team

I hope Fergie starts to play the youngsters together more and uses the older experienced players when needed.

    In reserve......

    What a squad!

Replace Park and Saha if we buy a Winger and Striker along with Hargreaves.

      • I can`t see SAF selecting an inexperienced keeper like Heaton over Kuszczak. My guess is that by the end of the season Foster will have replaced VDS as first choice keeper.

As for the rest, a great deal will decide on which players SAF decides to recall from loan, which first team squad players he decides to sale, which on-loan players he decides won`t make it at OT and who he manages to buy.

Of the on-loan players persistent rumours suggest that both Pique and Bardsley will move to the teams they are currently on loan with. Pique has had a good loan spell but at his age (20/21) he needs to break in to the utd team sooner rather than later - and with Vidic and Ferdinand in his way that looks highly unlikely. His problem is the longer he goes without breaking in to the first team the more likely he is to be overtaken by a younger player such as Evans or Cathcart. In such situations its about what is best for the player, utd could hang on to him and then watch him goes backwards through inactivity - like Glen Johnson or Wright-Phillips. Or they could do what they did with players like David Jones, Spector and McShane - allow then to move on and find regular first team football with another club. As for Bardsley, I think on-loan football has shown that he is not good enough for utd - he started well at villa but his form has dipped alarmingly over the last few weeks. He also faces competition from the very talented Simpson who has done very well at sunderland.

Of the other on-loan players - Gibson, Campbell, Rossi and Evans have had very successful on-loan spells and although its unlikely I wouldn`t be surprised to see all four included in the squad.

I agree that Silvestre, Richardson and Ole will probably not be in the squad and again like you I can see Ole in a coaching role. The question is whether SAF decides to keep the likes of Brown and O`Shea - and this I think does depend on how many youngsters he brings in to the squad. Someone has to make way for them if they are to be given a real chance of playing for the first team.

Purchases - Hargreaves, possibly a striker such as Huntelaar and a winger, possibly Sneijder or maybe a surprise purchase like Ribery.

    • Have you been drinking? Foster is younger and better than kuzcak, bardsley is crap, park is really no more than a squad member and hargreaves doesn't even play for us
