What a joke you lot are for even suggesting Mourinho as a replacement for McClaren's job.
FFS, how many youth players progressed into the Chelsea 1st team during Jose Mourinho's reign as the Chelsea manager? FYI, dour Mourinho was relieved from his post for being one-dimensional AVERAGE coach lacking in entertaining football.
England will NEVER be a world beater under Mourinho because he lacks deep football knowledge to coach a team from crash to succeed in International arena.
Has anyone ever wondered why Mourinho was a massive failure in Europe during his time at Chelsea given the absurd financial backing of Roman Abramovich? Yes, he won domestic trophies for Chelsea but did so while the other rivals are not on top of their games and in transition generally. This season has proven beyond reasonable doubt that Mourinho is a one-trick pony who was found out by his employer and adequately replaced by a better coach.
Chelsea under Grant are a better team than the one trained by Jose who trick was boring 1 - 0 lead and stuffing games out dishonourably without creativity, Mourinho will make England players worst not better. A good example why we mustn't enlist Mourinho's services is the Croatian side at wembley last night which continued to play creatively in an atrocious condition and were justly rewarded for their efforts, encouraging creative play isn't Mourinho's specialty and will set us back many decades behind our competititors if Jose is in charge.
Jose is BAD news for England.
And ladies and gentlemen I give you RED SLAYER, another classic post, well done.
I love the bit where you talk about the importance of the youth development and coaching an international football team, priceless!!

Lets be honest here which would England fans prefer:
An England team that plays like Brazil but unlike them wins bugger all, or...........
An England team that plays like Germany and wins the world cup?
At the moment of course we have neither an entertaining team or a winning one. What we need at the moment is an England team that can win matches, once they start doing that then they can start thinking about playing nice football. And if it takes a Mourinho like manager playing boring football to get England started again then so be it.
Wow, you went overboard on the sahibisms in that one bonzai ...
* to coach a team from crash
* Mourinho is a one-trick pony
* adequately replaced by a better coach
* trained by Jose who trick was boring
* stuffing games out dishonourably without creativity
* continued to play creatively in an atrocious condition
* justly rewarded for their efforts

A classic post.

thanks drunken', I dont normally bother reading bonzai's stuff but that really is a corker. "creatively in an atrocious condition" is worth keeping.
oh and Robert, your owner sacked your manager cos he didnt attack enough. I am prepared to gamble that he'd understand at OT that 1-0 isnt enough, may be I'm wrong. If he goes to Barca we'll find out.
I think you have made a fair post Bonzai, raising some good points. Guess you're not Chelski loving julia after all!
Personally, Im for Big Sam all the way, maybe Coppell or Jewell after him as I want someone English who can get us ticking, get us gelling as a team not as a bunch of individuals as under Sven and McClaren, and most importantly, someone who cares about England winning. No foreigner will enough for me.
However jose knows the English mentality, knows the press, knows what the fans want now, is a MASTER at getting players to play to their best, is tactically a genius, and his interviews in the media would actually be worth paying for. The issue with young players is the only irrelevant point in your post as international football is different to club football. Besides, he showed with Mikel, Kalou and Robben that if you are good enough, you will play.
