For anybody who's interested, this is the list of Utd's opponents in this competition since the treble season:
98 / 99:Middlesborough, Liverpool, Fulham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle
99 / 00 After the treble - too bored to enter
00 / 01 Fulham, West Ham
01 / 02 Aston Villa, Middlesborough
02 / 03 Portsmouth, West Ham, Arsenal
03 / 04 Aston Villa, Northampton, Man City, Fulham, Arsenal, Millwall
04 / 05 Exeter, Middlesborough, Everton, Southampton, Newcastle, Arsenal
05 / 06 Burton, Wolves, Liverpool
06 / 07 Aston Villa, Portsmouth, Reading, Middlesborough, Watford, Chelsea
07 / 08 Aston Villa, Tottenham, Arsenal …….
Number of matches = 37
Prem oppostion = 32
Non Prem = 5
This proves we rarely get an easy draw.
Would the fans of other clubs please post their lists so that we can compare them.
Bridge was kicked off by Shearer, Duff should have gone off, Cudicini was sent off, Gallas wanted to go off, the rest of us were thoroughly hacked off.
Very interesting! I had known we always get alot of Prem opposition but hadn't realised it was quite that much!
Goes to show how much we have had to earn our FA Cups recently and would have probably won it a couple more times had we had draws that teams like Liverpool usually get.
I hate to sound worried or biased but does anyone else think it's fixed for Man Utd to get a tough draw? Don't get me wrong, I am confident Man U can get a win but it would have been nice to rest a few players in the FA Cup.
And, I might be wrong but Liverpool seem to get a lot of first or second division teams...
This is got me thinking of bias in the FA. After Carragher not getting a hefty fine or ban for threatening fans earlier this season and Neville getting a suspension and fine for over celebrating in front of the L'pool fans, aren't I justified?!!!!!!

So go on then "I'm not an anorak", tell us where the facts are wrong.
His point is, in response to the lucky tag being applied by increasingly tetchy Arsenal fans, that United seem to get more than their fair share of "tie of the round".
*still awaiting blast off*
Kindly take your butt out of your butt...
United were bored to enter the cup???
United were put in a nasty situation by Blaire and his retarded dicks...
Thats why we "HAD" to go to Brazil, remember???
Kindly F.O. until you know what you are talking about...

We werent arrogant, we were told to play in the ridiculous thing else England wouldnt get the world cup, which proved to be bollocks as it went to the Germans anyway. If we'd played the youth team in the FA cup we would have derided the "most famous domestic cup competition in the world". A crap team won it that season anyway.
Last season we had the preposterous spectacle of Liverpool fans wishing United well in the title race with Chelsea. You've been in the big time for just a couple of years and yet are as hated as anyone. Robert might not be able to remember stamford beach, but we all do.
